@The Cringe Connoisseur This sounds awesome, I'd love some more insight into him!
The main thing I find fascinating about Tamers is just
how long he's been at it and I wonder what it has been like for him before he cultivated a dedicated fanbase? I'm curious about things like when did his first supporters show up and how he dealt with people who were alienated by his content.
Oh rest assured i'm just as curious as all of you and I plan to go in depth to pick at his brain so that we can see how this mad genius thinks. Why did you choose your cardboard costume, how did sonic underground come into your life and why does it mean so much to you, would you ever consider selling merch if you had help, why have you dedicated your life to continuing sonic underground, does he have help with his videos via friends or paid artists or does he work entirely alone, what do you have to say to your haters and your fans and of course, are you hamming it up for your videos or do you really have a big butt obsession. All of these questions and more will be asked.
I'll also tell him some crude jokes to get a laugh as well and dedicate a section of the interview to offering media recommendations from me and his other fans so if you know of anything accessible that Tamers may find inspiring lay it on me and i'll pitch it. So far I'll be recommending:
TV: Twin peaks, Metalocalypse, Breaking bad, Peaky blinders, Ed-edd-eddy, Gravity falls, Archer, The venture bros.
Music: Dethklok, Mastodon, Powerwolf, Gwar, Lordi, Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Devin Townsend(Particularly z2, it's an album about ass shaped aliens that invade the earth to steal all the coffee), Orden Ogan, Static-X, Judas Priest, Gorillaz, Caravan Palace, The Prodigy and more. I love music, sue me.
Movies: Hardcore Henry, The return of the living dead, Heavy Metal, Coraline, Who framed roger rabbit, Spiderman: Into the spiderverse.
Games: Brutal legend, Fallout: New vegas, A hat in time, Persona 4 Golden, The Suffering, Golden light, Vamprie the masquerade: Bloodlines, Postal 2, Metal wolf chaos XD, Bulletstorm, Beacon pines. Who knows, maybe I can talk him into doing a lets play?
I’m very surprised he was willing to do an interview. However this is something I am very torn on. On the one hand it would be neat but on the other I feel like the guy should just be left alone and an interview would set a precedent for weens to try to fuck with him even more.
Agreed on both these points. He does not need greater financial help.
I have a feeling the greater Tamers fandom would not be happy with this.
I planned to tell him to be wary of others asking for interviews after ours naturally and telling him tricks trolls and weens use often so that he can keep himself and his identity safe, and there will be no video or invasive questioning as well for additional safety. He doesn't seem to even really acknowledge his haters thankfully so those losers will hold no power over him as is and beside if they're stupid enough to try anything we're here to play kick the autistic aren't we? Tamers needs to know his true fans have his back I think that would boost his morale and confidence and inspire him more than anything honestly, a little positive support and reinforcement goes a long way.
The fact that he's willing to do an interview to me at least shows that he's grown confident with both himself and his skills and the genuineness of his fan base, why not let him have his moment in the spotlight even if it is a little one? He's a comedic genius in my book and as far as i'm concerned he deserves more supporters and fans. I also planned to pitch the idea of cutting down on the overly obscene moments that keep getting him in trouble by making them patreon exclusive content along with completely uncensored episodes if he's willing which would keep his strikes down and likely increase his patreon numbers as well. If anyone has any other ideas on how to keep his channel up for as long as possible and keep him in good standing i'm all ears. This interview is all about getting the word of the funniest man on youtube out there and letting fans ask questions they've always had, I have absolutely nothing to gain other than satisfaction in having interviewed someone who has made me laugh harder than anyone else in over 30 years.
I'm seconding the thought of being torn on this: on one hand it'd be cool to learn the intricacies of the guy behind it all, but at the same time the mysteriousness of his persona is one of the major parts of his charm.
Oh his comfort and anonymity are my top concerns there will be absolutely no video, sharing of any of his personal information or asking of invasive questions in the slightest, this entire thing is for the fans to ask their burning questions and to offer feedback and recommendations. It's a mutual win, I couldn't care less about retarded internet clout.
