Very lulzy as the whole street-shitting family is there, including a squat, loudmouth poojeeta who squawks at being caught on camera. and it's partly because of all these asian languages on it . Anyway I'll drop this ballot off tomorrow. By doing this, I'm contributing to the popular vote margin as well as the strong pro-Trump swing in NYC because of this, and will be making NY state a lot closer at the Presidential level this year.




i swear to God, my specific part of NYC is probably even worse than other parts of NYC when it comes to how cluttered it is with foreign languages. my specific location legitimately might have the WORST FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLUTTER on the ballot out of *any* part of the United States.

my God they didn't need to translate "Democratic" "Republican" "Conservative" "Working Families" into all these other languages too, i dont think a single foreigner needed those translated

and my God they didn't need to sound out the names "kamala, walz, trump, vance" in all these other languages too

literally every foreigner in the USA knows what "Trump" looks like in the Roman alphabet

oh, and FEMA didn't do shit for us either. they out right denied claims for relief from people whose houses were reduced to bare concrete slabs. Private charities and state aid forces did most of the work.

I've lived through flood, fire, hurricane, volcanic eruption, and earthquake.

The only thing FEMA ever did for me or my family in all that time was one time the guy came out, looked at the house, took a piss in the sideyard, threw an empty bottle of water on the ground, then left.

And denied my claim.

When St. Helens blew off, I don't even think FEMA was there. Pretty sure it was all local and state, some National Guard. A search claims they were important, but I sure as shit didn't hear about them back then.

Holes is probably the best book-to-film adaptation ever made (or one of them) by the way. It's also an example of a film made prior to 2016 with a racially diverse cast and strong female characters that surprise surprise became successful and beloved because "hey we have black people and vagina over here" wasn't its main selling point.
