Liz Fong-Jones / Elliot William Fong / @lizthegrey - 'Consent accident' enjoyer, ex-Google employee, nepotistic sex pest, Robert Z'Dar look-alike who wants authority over the Internet

Update on the Fong-Jones v Flow Chemical case. Sounds like Vincent Zhen agreed to pay Dong Gone, and the matter is now closed. No retrial.

Vincent Zhen was originally ordered to pay Liz Fong-Jones 445k AUD plus Liz's legal costs (around 150k AUD). Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, but could it be possible that they settled for a lesser amount? I find it hard to believe that Vincent Zhen would simply agree to pay the full amount (~600k AUD) without putting up a fight. Liz also hasn't publicly bragged about this (yet), which I find curious.

Oh well... The main lesson to take away here is to NEVER ignore court bullshit, even if you're being sued frivolously by an insane person like Dong Gone or Acerthorn. Vincent was apparently naive and had faith that the courts would dismiss it without him needing to get involved, which was a huge mistake. Now he's (possibly) in debt slavery to Liz Fong-Jones.

Call me optimistic but I’m not sure that’s the case. I think this order is only referencing the bankruptcy proceedings that Elliot had brought against Vincent to force Vincent to pay. If the case was to go to retrial, I would expect the same kind of order or a very similar one. Elliot would have no grounds to bring a bankruptcy proceeding to Vincent since the default ruling allowing Elliot to collect, and thus declare Vincent bankrupt, is being over turned. So the bankruptcy proceeding would have to be set aside. The costs might just be how the court ruled in this case because they’re like well, you made Elliot bring an unnecessary bankruptcy claim so you have to pay him the fees associated with that proceeding only. I see no mention of the other case, which is S ECI 2023 02348, and is in a different court system.

@enamelled toothbrush I hope you're right, and I was just being too hasty in making assumptions.
It's true that the Zhen Elizabeth Fong-Jones v Vincent Zhen bankruptcy case in the Federal Circuit and Family Court (discussed above) is separate from the Fong-Jones v Flow Chemical Pty Ltd defamation case in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

It doesn't look like there's a convenient way to check for updates in cases handled by the Supreme Court of Victoria. I think you have to submit an application and have it approved to get any info. Kinda frustrating.

this is hands-down my favorite picture. Like, I'm sure he thinks this is some kind of "come-hither" look, but really he just looks like a garden-variety gerbil-abusing fag sitting in the ER waiting for the night shift to remove a live rodent from his large intestine

Yeah that is a good one - I got about halfway done with this, and then I realized that our Thwomp would have cut the spikes off:

A large gray rock. It is square and has a human face. It is wearing glasses. It is falling at a high rate of speed. (Note: Reface applied post-generation)

Wearing a choker doesn't hide your adam's apple, Erriot.

Dear Lord, he is Z'Dar's bastard son. That fucking jaw.

Except Robert Z'Dar was fairly handsome in his younger days, before his genetic condition began to worsen and his jawline grew so large.
Also Z'Dar turned his unfortunate appearance into a fairly lucrative career as a heavy.

All Erriot turned his repulsive appearance into was a criminal career as a rapist.

Nothing really new to report, but I'd like to point out that it's been a full week since Vincent Zhen's bankruptcy case was closed (on Sept 24th)... and Liz Fong-Jones still hasn't publicly bragged about it.
We'll have to wait and see, but I think that's a good sign. A retrial could still be on the table.

While we wait, please enjoy some fresh cringe:

This Canadian Day of Truth and Reconciliation, I'm especially mindful that I am an uninvited guest on the Indigenous land of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwúʔmesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations. This isn't just an "extra holiday" to celebrate, it's a day to reflect upon the atrocities that the British and Canadian governments committed in their pursuit of colonialism and belief in the so-called doctrine of Terra Nullius. While I am still a newcomer to Canada and do not enjoy political rights here, I can still publicly call for the BC government to sign treaties with the First Nations and to recognise their traditional custodianship and ownership of these lands. And to stop building the Coastal GasLink pipeline across Wet'suwet'en lands.

Funny that this American citizen (who has been working towards permanent residency in both Canada and Australia for some reason) acknowledges that he's an uninvited guest... and yet he still insists on living in these "Indigenous lands" anyway! What a colonizer! :story:
Land acknowledgments are always so stupid and two-faced, lol.

Pretty rich coming from a man who has previously enjoyed being much more than "uninvited" "accidentally."
