It's a series of hilarious bad takes.
1) Depiction of the respected and spiritually significant torii gate.
2) Naoe sitting on it as if the gate was no different than a chair.
3) Being sold as a Made-in-China plastic chibi-style Funko Pop consumer item.

As a person who supports freedom of speech and expression, I actually would find "Torii-kun" funny and probably endearing while respecting the fact that Japanese people might not.
I personally have no problem with media "defacing" sacred objects and landmarks, whether it's the Torii gate or the twin towers or the Christian cross. I don't even have a problem with "Piss Christ" (I would just call it horrendously bad art and I would call the "artist" a loser faggot)

But I have a problem with the Torii gate because:
1) The French game devs and their bootlickers hate Japan/Japanese people while pretending to respect Japanese culture.
2) Progressive leftists always preach about "respecting the sacred monuments" of brown people like First Nations/Indians but it's open game on disrespecting the sacred monuments of White and East Asian people (good examples are Just Stop Oil throwing soup and paint on the Stonehenge and Western art).
3) Progressive leftists would not dare sell a funko pop of Chibi-Muhammed-sama (PBUH) sitting on a miniature Kaaba (cubical shrine of Mecca) because of the fear of getting Charlie Hebdo'd (ironically happened in France). The only thing worse than a prog-leftist is a prog-leftist coward.
4) Many of the leftists supporting Assassin's Creed Shadows were shitting on Ghosts of Tsushima before when they're basically the same type of thing: a Western made game with feudal Japan as a setting.

^ So I'm going to hold the leftist's standards against them and call for the boycott of Assassin's Creed Shadows because everything in the game offends me (not really but fuck 'em).

Side note: People need to stop using "what about muh 9/11 twin towers" and "what about muh Christian cross." The game devs are leftists, they hate Christianity and the West anyway and would love to trivialize and insult Christian and Western symbols.
