Well.... off to a good start
Most people are making alt Google/iCloud accounts and a VPN to run TCG Pocket outside of New Zealand, I've seen some success with emulation but apparently Pocket has the same issues Masters EX has as far as that avenue is concerned.
They made Kanto 1s harder for some reason, and people aren't happy about it. I can understand making them a little challenging, but they gotta make the rewards worth it. I helped someone with a 3* Beldum fight, and the most you'll get out of it is 4 rare candies and maybe an xl candy if you're super lucky. I personally don't think it's worth the time and investment, and I refuse to make 3 Gengars because they can't implement Dynmax and Gigamax on the Gengars we've caught. Next month's events look pretty promising, and I can't wait to get Giratina and Darkrai (I got back into the game last February). The Mega Raid Day should be interesting and hopefully fun.
Weird, I've never had any issues with the Kanto Max Raids (but then again I actually level up my good Dynamax Pokémon).

And as far as giving a pre-existing Pokémon the Dynamax/Gigantamax factor it'll happen eventually, SWSH didn't get the option to give/take away a Pokémon Dynamax/Gigantamax Factor until The Isle of Armor DLC came out.
The Indigo Disk brought more serious teams but it was no Battle Tower. AAT is just a glorified E4 rematch though. SV really only has the raids as the endgame and they don't cut it.
That is true, The Indigo Disk is basically prepping players for VGC shit and that has its own issues.

Y there are no miltank in kanto, just very few tauros that can only be found in a zoo?
Has there been a widespread case of mad cow disease?

They could have the aura concept from the anime and manga to make a more hardcore spin-off. Pokemon trainers who learn aura start doing crazy stunts and pissing everyone off.

But didnt they with pokemon reburst?

I finished the pokemon special Black and white arc... It felt... Unfinished and rushed. In the last 2 volumes it felt really weird like focusing on genesect, those three sword pokemon and training a young one but as the pages were ending the final battle felt rushed and there was very few pages dedicated to the main black and white cast. Cherem accepting plasma ideology felt rushed too since it was done all offscreen.

While I liked Black and White characters, they felt nothing like the early Sinnoh arc. I know there is a black and white 2 manga, but I don't know if the old cast will be back or not.

Also found a shiny surskit in volt white 2, and I am considering using it on the team since I can't for my own life find a good water special attacker for my team.

But if I do this I will have 3 fucking bugs on the team. And I would have even more if I could fit Galvantula.

I am trying to complete the alola pokedex in ultra sun to get the shiny charm. I have moon and ultra sun, unfortunately I didn't realize that the ultra sun pokedex requires pokemon that are only in ultra moon and not moon. I tried to buy a used game that already has some of it completed so I don't have to beat the game again. I thought I lucked out when I found one that looks like a lot was completed, so I bought it, only to find out the person transferred all their pokemon except for a level 3 buneary. (Marshadow was in the pokedex too..)

So now I'm unsure if I want to beat the game again, or try to find another partly completed copy. I think the biggest problem is Stakataka. It's not in Moon, there are only 2, and I'm pretty sure the guy who owned the game previously caught both and transferred them away. I don't know how else I can get it as from what I understand trading doesn't work anymore unless you're local to the person.

YOU WILL HAVE ZE BUGS on the team

Scolipede and who else?
So weird gen5 is when they started adding really good bugs.

Bugs are usually meant to be an introductory pokemon which teaches you how the basics of pokemon work alongside your starter but that's not much of a good reason for them to be bad.
Just looking at the type chart, bug isn't horrible defensively. Fighting and Ground are pretty common offensive types and grass types usually pair good alongside fire and water types making bug a surprisingly good pivot. Sure it's also weak to three common offensive types but ice is weak to a lot as well and weaknesses can be mitigated in team building.
Bugs biggest problem is that Gamefreak doesn't give them a lot of good pokemon or type combos and even if they do get some some good super effective targets in Grass, Psychic, and Bug, so many types also resists Bug even past the point of it making sense. Why do Fighting, Flying, Ghost, and Fairy even resist Bug?

Fighting - You ever been bit by a bug? 9 times out of 10 you smooshed that fucker. 99 times out of 100 you smooshed that fucker without ever getting bit and might not have even noticed.

Flying - Birds eat bugs

Ghost - Ghosts are spoopy and are thus not as affected by bugs which are also spoopy

Fairy - Fairy is overpowered

Thinking about it now I'm shocked Ground isn't weak to bug like grass is

Bugs do like to burrow into the dirt and even make homes in them
