Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

It's always been kinda funny that the places with the most gun control– Chicago, LA, New York– have the most gun violence in them. It's almost as if restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens is bad or something

It's as if gang members don't care about breaking the law.

Good lord that's an actual tweet. How the fuck do we satirize these people going forward?

Salon's the kind of site that makes you question if the crazy fundies weren't so crazy after all.

I was searching to see if there were any news outlet covering Eichenwald's story. It turns out this isn't the first time he's claimed to have been attacked with memes.
Krazy Kurt said:
A couple of weeks later, after my article about how Trump’s business interests would create a conflict of unprecedented proportions, I received a tweet from someone with the twitter handle “Mike's Deplorable AF.” Like many Trump supporters, he has chosen to identify himself as deplorable to mock the label once used by Clinton to describe the racists, neo-Nazis, homophobes and like who have crawled out of the sewer to cheer for the Republican nominee. Mike, however, is indeed deplorable.
In his tweet, which has since been deleted, Mike made mention of my seizures and included a small video. It contained images of Pepe the Frog, a cartoon character that has been identified by the Anti-Defamation League as a hate symbol. I was carrying my iPad, looking at the still image on the video and, without thinking, touched the PLAY button.
The video was some sort of strobe light, with flashing circles and images of Pepe flying toward the screen. It’s what’s called epileptogenic—something that triggers seizures. Fortunately, since I was standing, I simply dropped my iPad to the ground the second I realized what Mike had done. It landed face down on the bathroom floor.
The deplorables are real. The deplorables are dangerous.

Seeing this is Salon we're talking about, I wouldn't be surprised if they think there's some secret conspiracy where the U.S. supplies suicide bomb vests to militants to create false flag attacks.

In other news there's this graph floating around that's supposed to help you with "fake news" :story:

Vox, Slate, The Guardian, and The Atlantic being listed as more complex and analytical than BBC and NPR.

There's also a counter chart:

Funny how the folks howling about how we need to "come together" and "heal a divided nation" by overturning the election are the ones who've been trying their best to disrupt said nation with constant traffic-blocking storefront-vandalizing fake-crime-reporting behavior.

So somebody tweets you a gif which is nothing but bright colours and the message "You deserve a seizure for your posts" on it and you decide to click play anyway? Even exceptional individuals would be fucking ashamed of you.

You don't have to click gifs to start them playing.

Their inability to accept the reality presented to them makes them blind to hypocrisy of their actions vs. their words. It goes to show how few of these people genuinely practice what they preach when they shout "Love Trumps Hate."

"Love Trumps Hate"... as long as it's what they love that's superior to what they hate. If it's a cause that's important to other people, then it doesn't matter so much.

NY Times seems convinced.

Where was all this rhetoric about preserving the integrity of the election when it was proven (not just speculated/made up) that the DNC basically said "fuck our voters Hillary gets the nomination"?
This is what, even a month later, the Democrat loyalists still can't begin to answer. Prior to the election, the line was that fucking over Bernie supporters was okay, because it's what they had to do to keep Trump out of the White House. Events since then have shown that it didn't stop Trump's election, that had they let Bernie get the nomination he likely would have beaten Trump, and that their party has no sense of ethics or democratic process. For them, this wasn't just a lost election, this is a sign that they've lost everything in terms of relevance or credibility. The DNC risked all their reputation on rigging a primary to beat Trump, and they lost on every front.

I wouldn't be surprised to see "Democracy doesn't work" become a popular meme among the left over the next few years, because it may be more palatable than saying "We're corrupt and our candidate sucks".
