I got angry at Vance for not saying what I was yelling in my head, but he handled it okay. Every time Walz paused bizarrely while talking made it sound like he was waiting for the person speaking into his earpiece to tell him what to say. I'm not accusing him of that, it was just funny. Vance came off very professional and well spoken, and I'm someone that was very on the fence about him. I think Trump made a great pick now. This was hardly a VP debate, more Walz debating Trump because he couldn't stop talking about him. And the project 2025 shit, oh my god...

Agreed. It showed that (a) Vance commanded the debate stage the entire night, and (b) Vance proved that his policies and opinions are appealing to the average American.

People are trying to spin this as "Walz being a nice and civil guy" angle as pure COPE, but honestly ... It just showed how little substance he has compared to Vance. He didn't look civil tonight ... He looked outclassed.

Seems like women are responding to JD’s calm and in control military bearing. This country is in crisis— a focused, unflappable soldier saying “it’s okay, I’m going to get you out of here” is pitch perfect. And it pairs so beautifully with Trumps YUGE persona.

Also, which one of you posted my screen grab of Walz looking retarded on /pol/? Gave me a good laugh!

Most of all Kamala's biggest weakness is that she doesn't really get attention & kudos unless she's on the same platform as Trump throwing barbs at him. There is nothing for Trump to gain by sharing another primetime political night with Kamala.

It's at least dispelling of all the "weird" attacks on Vance. You're also missing out on the visual element: Vance with his calm and occasional Bugs Bunny glance at the camera while Walz appeared to be wide-eyed with panic the entire time.

The Biden vs. Trump debate destroyed his campaign, I think that debate gave me too high expectations. Now I look for one of those breakout performances.

I was listening to the radio, so I missed the Tim Walz goofy eyes. Now I see you guys talking about it. This must be how people who listened to Kennedy vs. Nixon on the radio vs. watching it on TV felt.
