From now until eternity any time I see a failed pass play when a run would have sufficed I will always think of Richard Sherman in agony on that sideline after that play, and smile.
Richard Sherman's reaction is probably the closest any of us will ever get to Napoleon's face at Marshal Ney's cavalry charge. I keep that clip bookmarked and re-watch it every now and again.
I was going to go all Reddit-tier acktchually on you, like the faggot that I am, and explain how it's also illegal, but when searching for sources to back me up, I found out I was wrong. The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 (archive.ph) prohbits the use of the armed forces for domestic law enforcment unless authorized by Congress. The Insurection Act of 1807 (archive.ph) is one such exception authorized by Congress, and is the biggest. However, this again, addresses using the armed forces for law enforcement purposes, e.g. putting down rebellions, major riots, etc.

I couldn't actually find anything that forbid deploying the federal armed forces domestically for emergency relief after natural disasters.

I have mixed thoughts on this. You are right, the National Guard would be the ones to be activated and deployed, perhaps with some federal assistance. That's part of why each state keeps a National Guard unit. And the National Guards of the various impacted states have been activated and deployed (archive.ph).

However, it's not like the 82 Airborne hasn't been deployed in the wake of major disasters in the past. In 1992 they were deployed to South Florida after Hurricane Andrew, and then in again in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. They're one of the US' foremost expeditionary infantry divisions, so their skills and equipment would definitely useful in the search and rescue, and humanitarian relief efforts.

But the sandbox is heating up, and Israel and Iran are starting to trade blows. The Establishment very much would like to add an Iran chapter to their Middle Eastern Forever War to distract from the election. In light of that, I'm not surprised that people at Fort Bragg are being told to stay put. If our Greatest Ally calls for aid, or the Establishment decides its time to go blow up some sandniggers now now now Now NOW, then the 82nd Airborne are going to be sent to the sandbox to blow up some sandniggers, even if we need them here at home..

I don't like it. I understand it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

And so, I leave this message in draft, go outside and do things besides poltisperging and come back to 100 new pages. Was the VP debate that fun?

I have some catching up to do. Anyone want point out posts that I might miss if I surf the highlights forward?
Feel free to UHM ACKSHULLY me when I'm wrong, I do that shit to other people all the time.

As for the debate: watch the whole thing. It's so worth it. Vance was presidential. I actually ended up liking Tim Walz because he was genuinely polite and nice to Vance - as was Vance to Walz, which is a really nice thing to see nowadays when everyone hates each other so much. Vance reserved his derision for the moderators, who deserved it.

I had to clock out before the debate concluded. Was there any great salt mining?

It's how you can tell that the stances of both political parties has skewed to become opposites of what it used to be.
It started with the left going all in on the big woke companies. The democrats became the party of the tech bro elite and the Republicans the party of the middle class. I wasn't there of course, but I imagine what this must've felt like in the 50's to 60's when the dems went from the party of the Klan to the party of the welfare state. If the Republicans can even split the unions a bit more that's pretty much as much change from 2006-2016 or so was.

About the only thing that's the Democrats haven't changed on at all is abortion. They'll do some token anti-gun rants, a bit of environmental stuff, just 'we have to do something!!' I noticed a distinct lack of talking about homo/tranny stuff last night but I admit after the gun segment I just kind of zoned out. The only thing I wish Vance hadn't done with opening with his backstory instead of for half his first answer when that was a pretty big slam dunk to say the middle east has turned into a complete nightmare under harris.

CIA asset Peter Thiel, is a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, wants to harvest the blood of teenagers to live forever, and seems to like young boys. Jimmy might have met him at a gay orgy
this is also the profile of every single democrat in washington so i'm willing to declare this a wash in Vance vs the competition

Not only is it not something that helps but at this point actively hurts. The issue started as a slam dunk with overwhelming majority support for prosecution. But, as information leaked out and spread across places like Facebook support for it has just dropped and dropped. To the point you have sub 50% who actually blame Trump significantly and a near majority who view the prosecutions as politically motivated.
I'm sure their attempt to say over 140 policemen were beat up like anyone gives a shit or the fact that there wasn't that many there in the first place. Will totally make people care.

These faggots do not know their own audience.

clinging onto the fucking vice presidential debate for copium fuel after Trump bombed the actual Presidential debate between the top of the ticket
Which presidential debate did Trump bomb? The on against the actual President that got arse-blasted so bad he had to retire on a beach, or the one against the VICE PRESIDENT that the left are desperately clinging on to?

You're such a drooling fucking retarded that your keyboard must waterproof.

Tim Walz, friend of school shooters, baby killers, and the CCP.

I must genuinely ask Kamala: You seriously thought that this guy was your best choice ... Or was he your only choice?
I think the selection of Walz makes a lot more sense when you realize they needed someone who couldn’t outshine her.

It’s a VP. You want someone that makes folks go: “Yeah, that’s a safe choice in case Kamala gets Kennedied!” Not: “Why can’t I vote for this guy?! Say how did she become candidate again?”

Was there anyone else lining up for the job? There was that one jew, but he got ruled out because of is IDF connections. No one with an actual political future wanted to touch Kamala's campaign.

I don't think Trump did that well. He got tilted early on. Something that never happened to Vance. He recovered and bounced back but he flat out lost those first 20 minutes. He won ultimately because in that second half, Kamala did abysmal. However, from a marketing standpoint, Kamala won because those first 20 minutes are all people have attention span for before they realize politics is boring and change the channel.

It wasn't like this debate where Vance flat out won. I'd argue though it's a more important victory. The MAGA Party has no future and Vance emerging and taking the spotlight and showing America what he's got is far more important than anything Kamala or Trump have to say.

Yeah, also Trump allowed himself to get fact checked, which isn't a good look. I was shocked when Vance challenged the mods for pulling that shit, and they actually kept his mic on long enough to get his point out.

I appreciate the insight, however, I was highlighting how the above poster was a fucking retard for saying Trump-supporters were clinging onto a VP debate because the presidential one was a loss for Trump.
However, as the mongoloid I was replying to failed to notice - because he's a spastic, Trump destroyed PRESIDENT Biden so badly that PRESIDENT Biden gave the fuck up.
VICE PRESIDENT Kamala Harris debated Trump and the left are holding up a VICE PRESIDENT debating as a win.
Hence, the aforementioned fucking retarded, making himself look a fucking retard.

(Bolded, colour and caps added for when the autistic oldfag poster tries to "lol, yetbutnobutackshually" me in a reply. Bolded not aimed at you, fren)
