Hopefully this isn’t late, I’m still about 20 pages behind in the thread.. Whilst I can’t answer for yesterday’s debate prep if this is something that interests you I’d recommend Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign by Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen. It catalogues every stage of the 2016 rollercoaster ride from launch to (happy) ending and the descriptions of the debate prep are unreal. The person being Trump went as far as hiring several podiums, dressing up as DT including suits and overlong tie and refusing to engage with her out of character. They even kept the rehearsals to the same times as the debate. Pretty much SNL but real.

It’s quite eye opening and whilst sympathetic and partisan to the Dems knowing the outcome makes reading it particularly delicious and it shines a spotlight on what happens behind the scenes in campaigns.
I was pondering it last night, what the fuck would a Hillary term even look like?

I’d assume it would have been the hostility of Biden with a bit more competence

Really I think you guys are giving this debate way to much importance.

The VP debate has zero impact on the election really. Sure it's important for Vance to try to set himself up as Trump's successor but that's about it.

Waltz could have said he fucks dogs and the MSM would still say he won so really no one cares that much about it.

It's about the news cycle and momentum.

This week the entire cycle has been negative for Biden/Harris camp and it is about to get much, much worse as the port strike drags on.

Because it's so much fun, Jan!

This thread isn't titled "The Trump Fan Hugbox Thread", or "#KiwisForTrump", its' the US Politics General and people are allowed to talk politics, even if they don't suck Trump's cock and gaslight themselves into ignoring his flaws and many fuckups.
Can we rename the thread "Kiwi Dicks out For Trump"? @Useful_Mistake

Where do these pro Haitian niggers keep coming from?, Haitians average an IQ of 65 and have a literacy rate of 60 percent and that's in their own fucking language. They are never going to "assimilate", they are never going to stop raping and murdering. 150 years of welfare and free shit have been given to the blacks and they are still a blight on our society, why would even more niggerlicious blacks be any different.

Are you one of those galaxy-brained giganiggas that thinks that the media ackshually has a right wing bias?
Neil is a retard. Or, straight up more delusional than actual Neil Breen. I'd say a solid half of the dems are like this, completely, utterly demoralised (in the bezmenov sense) living in a little bubble where trump is Darth Satan McHitler. That's how you get 2 mentally defective, dysgenic retards to try and assassinate a presidential candidate and ex president. That's how you get 3 retarded judge to sign onto some ridiculous kangaroo court bullshit to stop orange man.

It's sad, but there is no easy solution there. There's no cure. Those ''people'' will be like this until Trump dies, then they'll either retreat and stop caring, or just switch to whatever successor of Trump (like don jr, or vance etc)

hen how is he still relevant? If he was not genuinely liked, he wouldn't be around anymore. Is there some J00ish conspiracy keeping him around? How does someone stay relevant for 8 straight years if they're roundly despised? You're not answering my question, Neil.
Hillary won the popular vote by a slim margin, but not in the states where she needed it the most due to the electoral college. It was unpopular vs unpopular, but the dems were more divided and apathetic where it actually mattered (that tiny segment of 50k people in middle america). A lot of conservative-minded people voted Trump just to keep another Clinton out of power.

Simple, every other Republican choice for the presidency is more unpopular (the last choice against Trump in 2016 was Ted fucking Cruz) than he is. The point for most in voting for him is keeping the Left out of power.

Vance fucking hated Donald Trump (America's Hitler) every single day before Trump asked him to be his vice president. Now Vance loves him because Vance is an ambitious, power-seeking opportunist who would absolutely not pass up the chance to go from being a one-term senator to being a singular heartbeat away from the presidency.

Ted Cruz, Tucker Carlson, Lindsey Graham, all the rest of them latched onto him because he's the least unpopular Republican, and therefore the "best" chance they've got at keeping the Dems out of power while keeping themselves in power. It's the same reason why every Keffiyeh wearing white woman and Middle-Eastern regime supporter like Hasan are going to vote for Kamala, they don't want the Republicans in power.

Earlier this year, there were an influx of "double haters" that wanted to vote for neither Trump nor Biden. That's why Kennedy was able to hang on for so long. Kennedy's intention was to try and spoil against the Democrats, but that backfired and he won more conservative support because he embodied more of their beliefs than Trump did. Trump was so desperate to keep Kennedy from spoiling for him that he literally called him the night he got out of the hospital after Crooks gave his ear a papercut and later promised him a position in his administration if he won. RFK Jr.'s son posted a snippet of that conversation, then deleted it.

If RFK had run for the Republican nomination, he probably could've won the nomination because he managed to take a bite out of that core demographic. He's also less unpopular with more center-right voters than Trump is, that's why Trump made such a big point of introducing him as a partner.

Oh no, that dirty dang ELECTORAL COLLEGE. Imagine giving people living in small states with low populations a voice. They should just shut up and die right?

Then how do you explain this?

That's cool, but where's the proof, shitdick? Come on, show your work.

And yet, if the roles had been reversed, Trump's campaign would be done.

This was a catastrophic performance from Walz, and the media is still talking about it today. This was the last chance for the Harris Walz campaign to take the reigns over any narrative about Trump, his running mate, his campaign, and what he's said about them ... And it was a stunning failure. Harris allegedly begging for another debate with Trump after last night basically confirms this.

Walz even reinforced the notion that Kamala is tied to the disastrous Biden administration.
