the reason fictives exist is because alters who “split” are like babies born with a great deal of knowledge a person who’s at least experienced years on earth would have
they haven’t built up an identity with those years, they weren’t given the chance to. so, an alter may find a character (or one the system has already discovered like a piece of media they’re attached to) and identify with that character, taking on that identity

Aw, pity. I was looking forward to her and her ghostwriter making another incredibly well-written and well-received response debunking her allegations. I guess it's better if they stay quiet. They were making Birdie look really good.

Putting on my tinfoil hat, what if they're still friends in private and once Synni was exposed for sexting kids they knew Synni's career was toast, so they've decided to use whatever remaining resources they have to bolster Birdie's career? How hilarious would it be if they were still living together, laughing all the way to the bank to cash that GoFundMe check? 10k and enough victimhood to last Birdie for the foreseeable future doesn't sound too bad if one of them has to tank anyways. Their true plan is to make Birdie immune to further drama... :o

I honestly think this is the most likely scenario. Birdie will talk sexually to a child not because she's attracted to them, but because she talks that way to everyone, and then she'll use the aroace defence. I don't even think there's a high chance of that happening, I think Birdie is just smart enough to see the downfall of Synni and wants to avoid being like her in any capacity. But in the off chance she's retarded enough to speak to a kid sexually, it's because im aroace Dx i talk that way 2 every1 !!!

Wrong, but I can see why this is a common misconception. "Grooming refers to a pattern of behaviors that predators use to gain access to people who are vulnerable, build trust, and ultimately gain control over them for exploitation." Not all grooming is sexual. Grooming is essentially manipulation, which is why young kids being exploited by older people with sexual activity is referred to grooming. Though, it's unlikely to happen again, as Birdie's only real friend left them, I doubt they'll trust anyone again. Which is just... sad but I have a hard time feeling sympathy for them because they've clearly never put any effort into interacting with people outside of the internet even after they escaped their shitty parents.

Too corny. If Sophia had confessed this like a normal person that's in a genuine state of regret and grief would've, then maybe I'd consider this new information being true. But this being conveyed in a way much like those pre-ironic, sadboy, B/W anime edits you'd find on Pinterest in 2014, I can't help but think this is an extreme exaggeration or changing what happened to fit a narrative.
