2024 Halloween Merch Run

Dont rush to credit blockhead and his cabal of stinky shut ins. Square has a history of being really gun shy on anything that's not a standard CC purchase.

Maybe all these prepaid cards freaked them out and they pulled the plug. Old blindly isn't all powerful and directly responsible for every bad that happens. Sometimes it's just a dumbassss in loss prevention getting antsy.

if this were brought to public light, they would start having to answer questions to the public that uses them.
Unfortunately, Josh loses in the court of public opinion. People see a heckin racist heckin homophobe heckin transphobe and don't really give a fuck about what he's exiled from nor do they have any forethought about how it could backfire on them in the future. Adaptation to crypto seems to be the easiest course of action for us

I linked a Reddit thread earlier discussing small business owners who had their accounts terminated with thousands of dollars frozen, because they had payments from prepaid cards.
Some were still fighting a year later for the funds.
But I equally think it could be the trron squad.

They're fucking with you, the buisness, and now us, the customers.
Them fucking with Null is one thing, and bullshit, but I think when it comes to class action, it would be on the buyer more than the seller. Like if enough people who actually sent money for the hoodies made a big enough stink, specifically showing they did, that would be a better showing than if the seller complains FOR the buyers.

Crypto is a meme and will be for the far future if not forever. I think if Josh put himself out there on Twitter and leveraged every connection he has to talk about this, you would see things happen. He is still a person at the end of the day. People have empathy for a dog that keeps getting kicked and keeps getting back up. They don't have to agree with every take he's made. They just have to see that what's happening is very very wrong.

How is crypto a meme if it provides a way to circumvent payment processors?

You are vastly overestimating the charitability of the average person lol. The people most sympathetic to Josh are those who a) have been burned in similar ways, b) have woken up as a result, and c) are aware of his existence. Even with a twitter campaign, that isn't a lot of people. It certainly isn't enough for powerful demons to feel any consequences just ignoring.

Because I'm not using it nor are the majority that bought a shirt or hoodie.

I guess Josh should just give up and die then, don't even try, it's over, it's joever even. Total retard war 2 where we got epik to back down was proof we can win when we stick together. I think we can do more if we try hard enough.

>Why did you institute the Fourth Reich in America?
<I just wanted my goddamn Halloween-themed Kiwifarms shirts.

So..... learning how to open a crypto wallet is mission fucking impossible but a grassroots movement surrounding a commonly unsympathetic person seeded on social media to overthrow banker demons isn't. Giving up isn't even my stance here, it's just that if there's no legal precedent we're talking about (to my nonlawyer layperson's eye) some absolutely next level court battles against, again, banker demons, and crypto is sitting right there as the most pragmatic solution in the meantime.

final decision, no appeals, sorry we dont have any other information, no we cant forward you to account services, no we wont put you in touch with the risk team, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

mailing the FTC and OCC, fuck em. I pay taxes and I will now make this everybody's problem until I can make money again.

Now that I'm really paying taxes my piss and vinegar is higher than ever. I deserve to cause the government expense through complaint volume until my input and output are equitable.
I haven’t read through the rest of the thread but, is there a link for us to send our own complaints (to the FTC or Square)? My Fiancé and I were literally about to purchase the cute shirt for her and the Viking for me so, as a customer of yours, I’m kind of pissed.

I'm genuinely considering making the charity I had in mind a 501(c)(4) instead and use it to lobby for:
(1) diminished copyright burden,
(2) common carrier Internet service,
(3) accountability, transparency, and equity in payment services.

Honestly yes. You expect far too much crypto bro. Yelling on twitter though? Donating to a IOTLA legal defense fund to get a California law firm using my card i already have setup? That is far more accessible to everyone than crypto. As for precident, that's what we're paying 500k for, to find some old law we can use or to make one in the courts. Money is a effective tool when you are left with no other options.

Donate to legal funds all you want. I'm talking about how we can continue having merch runs. The two aren't mutually exclusive

Can I be your stereotype Italian-mafia bruiser? It’d be pretty cool to bust banker’s teeth in when they don’t give you a good reason for pulling payments.

Hypothetically, if a liberty-minded congressman invited you, would you break your ironclad privacy and testify in front of US Congress, if it meant bringing public attention to this bullshit?

My main issue with crypto is that I, an American, should be able to give American dollars to another American for any legal good &/or service I want without either of us being fucked with.
I understand it’s a workaround, but I shouldn’t have a need to use workarounds to buy a t-shirt.
Yeah of course, but this is the reality we're faced with if we want cute kiwi merch until Joshua destroys the united states of america

the fucking nerve to do this in October. to ruin Halloween!
I feel so fuckin lucky I swiped my shirt. Absolutely clutch of me being home on a monday
