Friendly (nightmarish) reminder that fistulas can spring up even after things seem to have "healed" when it comes to these kinds of surgeries. The body is desperately trying to reject all of....that, in order to properly heal.
Less extreme example, but I've seen people with seemingly healed "bridge" piercings (bridge of the nose, between the eyes), then their barbell started to reject. The two piercing holes slowly get closer together as the body pushes the bar to the surface. But in this case a third hole also spontaneously formed in the middle. You could see the bar through the hole. The body will just make holes in itself trying to fix problems sometimes lol
Look, if a doctor actually does that, he should be thrown in a pit. I agree it isn't funny to treat a patient that way. But it isn't like this thread is full of funny stories or was even created to provide laughs.

If she's getting treated for a UTI it's actually fair enough for the doctor to want to know what specific anatomy is involved.
