Not saying it's impossible, but weather models did fairly accurate forecast the intensity and general location of Helene. I don't know how models would react if artificial intensification of a hurricane occurred, but I think it's incredibly unlikely that it happened because there's no way all weather models, especially ones developed outside the US, would be able to predict that artificial intensification in the first place before the storm even formed.
