I personally am glad my taxes are being spent on Americans and not gay commie shit for once. Rebuilding a town after a act of God isn't a handout. It's what a nation does for its people. Also we're never paying back the debt, so might as well spend on something good.

Rebuilding is good and all but why isn't that duty on the specific states themselves and not at the federal level. States do have their own budgets raised by that specific state's taxpayers and that's where the funding to rebuild should be coming from. Money is important and we're kind of in a recession right now leading into a depression. I don't know if the federal budget and the average taxpayer can take all this spending.

I know about her retarded housing stipend but that’s literally it. I still have no clue what her specific plans are

Because the feds are to help when times get tough. They take a lot in taxes, it's only fair they give some back for once. Use that military muscle they have for some constructive purposes. As for the budget: it's fucked anyway. Rebuilding after a hurricane is the least of our worries. And personally I don't care.

There is a common interest in making sure that a state in the union isn’t a desolate shit hole after a natural disaster. The more money that individuals have to spend on hurricane recovery is less money that can go back into the system. Businesses that are destroyed from a natural disaster means that their are less work opportunities for the people living there, meaning even less money that can be taxed and more unhappy citizens.

Her plans for the country are doing what she is told to do and getting all the praise for it. Even she knows it. She was sent to the border and forgotten about until Biden had that terrible debate.

We can free up all kinds of money for citizens if we cut off the infinite nigger intake valve and tell Israel with a blue and white flag to fuck off along with Israel with a blue and yellow flag to fuck off but I'm not an economist or anything. Just a crazy type of hunch, a real gut feel type intuition.

I read somewhere that 95% of the new illegals in New York didn't bother even applying for jobs. The problem is that they have no incentive to work when the Government will give them handouts.

Relying on the feds to help you with everything is foolish and a big reason why everything sucks today. There needs to be more self sufficiency in the US like there used to be or else the budget will never improve. It's easy to say "who cares about the federal budget, it's fucked so gimme muh gibs" and then wonder why taxes are WAY TOO HIGH. Contrary to modern belief it's very possible to cut federal spending if the will to do so was there and if the average American did the right thing then we wouldn't need federal handouts at all and America would take care of itself.

The victims of the hurricane should not be looking to the feds for help but their own state instead.

A country helps its own people. That's all of us. It's not GIBS, it's the right thing to do. Self sufficiency means shit when you lose everything. Fuck that. Government gets to fix the mess.

Sounds to me like they should cut some more unnecessary federal spending to make room for that recovery. I wouldn't be so worried about it if they did that but as far as I'm aware they didn't and instead just piled more spending on top of more spending while we are already entering a financial crisis.
