Him not caring enough to read it is remarkable in itself. But her not caring enough for her husband's input to have him read it is equally weird. I mean if I was writing a book about my life, I can't imagine not running things by the person I've been together with for 25 years, even if it's just to make sure I'm remembering things correctly or to ask whether a chapter is too long-winded.
