Very, very few Americans are prepared to survive without "modern conveniences" which at this point if you include electricity and running water are necessities to survive in the modern world. The rugged frontiersman type of person who can survive off of little to nothing has been gone for a long time. If you forcibly move people away what happens to the land they own as well as their possessions? Where do you send them? What happens if the place they lived becomes inhabitable again? Should this be the precedent for every natural disaster?
Helping people recover and rebuild seems like a cheaper alternative.

The point is moot anyway, because a large portion of the population has voluntarily relocated anyway. Last numbers I saw was about 75% of the residents of Montreat and Black Mountain have relocated to temporary shelters or family members outside of the affected area. These people aren't retarded, they know staying there isn't a winning proposition.
To be fair, making up complete bullshit stories of illegal immigrant jackboot government kill teams stealing supplies and shooting huwhite champions of freedom just trying to help is irresponsible and dangerous.
Think of all of the ACTUAL bullshit that will now never be taken seriously because it is now grouped in with completely schizophrenic bullshit lies. FEMA funds being used for illegals? Volunteer helicopter pilots being threatened with arrest? Dead in the water, because it's now said in the same breath as "the government is sending FEMA hit teams to steal everyone's guns and are only giving out Soylent laced with tranny hormones."

You send them to Federal Disaster Centers like the Astrodome was used for Katrina. Just a few weeks before this storm the NFL partnered with FEMA to use all their domed stadiums in case something like this happened. Most people don't know but the fed gov't helped fund the Astrodome's construction in the first place for that purpose (nuke strikes specifically).
They won't like it any more than the hundred thousand New Orleanians who were sent to Houston did. Until they got there. A large percentage chose not to come back even when N.O. was reopened.
Martial law will be declared and everyone told to leave, I suspect those plans are being made right now. If everyone stranded in the mountains right now insisted on staying the majority will be dead in six months, that's just reality. People who don't have supplies are dying right now and that's not going to improve. The roads are gone and won't be back any time soon.
This is an unprecedented natural disaster and yes this was always the plan for those. This isn't a video game.

This is the real tragedy. FEMA is one of those government organizations that doesn't have to do shit for 99% of it's existence, so when something awful happens they have no idea how to deal with it.
Ray Nagin was an idiot, but I remember him on the radio talking about the acres of FEMA trailers that were sitting out there weeks after Katrina and saying shit about going out there and just taking them since the feds weren't doing anything to help. Those were some interesting times.

This is on the same order as the floods of 1916 and 1940. It is not unprecedented.
We don't know what they are demanding because we still don't have reliable communication with all the affected areas. The snow isn't going to be a problem until late December at the earliest.

That's what makes this so much worse than Katrina. It took about a month to drain the floodwater from the city but when it was dry at least the roads were still there. Supplies and those trailers could be transported and the land was flat. Those trailers had sewage and utilities to connect to once transported in. None of that exists now with this and it won't exist for probably 18+ months. The people must be evacuated or they will die, simple as.

I'm sorry, but aside from the big blue City of Ashville and the Interstate highways will get all kinds of aid but it seems clear that, aside from all the relief money being given away to shitskins, FEMA's going with the Lahaina playbook and is only gonna let their good ol xirs handle things in an approved way and that lets the jewish media portray them briefly as big heros before they make the story disappear. This isn't about relief, it's about rewarding the loyal, brat city of Ashville while cleansing the mountains of the disease of Whiteness.
