It's all about moderation and self-policing. The timespan it took between the gay shit and now probably has a measurable pattern of both the concepts of moderation and self-policing going out the fucking drain with the mindset of 'we can do no wrong, we're the underdogs.' Introducing homosexuality as a public issue at all was a massive mistake, and everyone involved got played for rubes by higher powers.

At the time, I wanted to ask them why the fuck they even felt the need to comment about the subject in a professional environment that had nothing to do with George Floyd in any way.
