You know what? I think Rittenhouse was a stupid kid who took a gun to a riot zone. I genuinely believe that he should have stayed home. Then he gets attacked by a group of hooligans - an avowed pedophile (Rosenbaum) who was caught on several security cameras stalking Rittenhouse all night, a guy who smashed Rittenhouse's skull in with a skateboard and attempted to steal his gun (Huber), and Grosskreutz (who had a handgun and was attempting to murder Rittenhouse). Three people tried to intentionally murder Rittenhouse and make the case that people like him should have been there.

It blows my mind how raw of a deal the prosecution got.

Nobody made Britain embrace "diversity" and start blathering about "the intrinsic white supremacy in the Scottish highlands." They do that because they want America to notice them. At the same time, if the Dems have to go back 20-plus years to find an iota of dirt on the guy, maybe it's because he grew up upon graduation and has been a respectable adult ever since.

I have a similar opinion. Even if he was trying to do a favor for a friend, being out alone in the middle of a riot - with or without a weapon - is unfortunately a recipe for disaster as he found out the hard way. Once he was attacked, though, he had a right to self-defense since the people attacking him were hellbent on killing him and yet the latter was made out to be the victim in the narrative.

It's also ironic that same groups who complain about targeted harassment are doing the same to him to prevent him from going to college or having any sort of regular life.

These are the things that undecided voters should take into consideration at the polls. Do we want people in power who want to harass others over the most trifling of youthful indiscretions and prevent people from having a productive life for no other reason than political leanings? Sadly, too many look only at party labels and don't dig deeper for whatever reason.

The United States didn't even have significant conflict with most of the Muslim world before the Israeli project began, and the example of Afghanistan shows that most of the more fundamentalist Muslims mainly want to rule over their crude fiefdoms and minimize contact with the evil outside world. In the more industrialized Muslim societies, Islam is rapidly collapsing from within because it's a totalizing, all-or-nothing belief system designed for ancient desert tribes that can't adapt to modern life.
