If they do pull any shit they're gonna cry voter disenfranchisement. I am so certain that will be the story because several states reported that they removed voter rolls. It will be on the news that Gabriella Morales found out on election day that she wasn't able to vote. Also stories of how voting centers in the inner cities will have long lines.

Especially if this ends up being a close race and Georgia's votes hand it to Trump. Oh they will proclaim that Brian Kemp pulled some shenanigans because Trump wouldn't stop bitching at him. I don't think Harris would end her career vindicating Trump that you should be allowed to cry foul. But they will make it a narrative that Trump cheated to win.

Also maybe some anti-men screeds because if Trump wins it will be because a male vote was able to edge out women. Then again they didn't pull that card when Hillary lost.

It shows the direction of the economy, there's a certain threshold you need to hit just to keep up with population growth and to determine if interest rates need to rise or lower.

This used to be a relatively non-partisan, somewhat rooted in reality number. But once Obummer showed up it started to be fudged to make him look good, especially the months prior to the '12 election. They also removed people looking for a job for so long they gave up, which is why the "real unemployment" number, U-6, was used for a long time for people to pay more attention to compared to the "official" U-3 numbers.

They even did this with Trump, where they would make a big deal about Trump hitting but not consistently getting an S-Rank in employment numbers.....only to show the revisions go UP and he reached those numbers for ever month/quarter except for right at covid lockdowns. Trump's economy was so good many people who gave up looking for work actually looked for work again, which ironically made the numbers look worse because it raised the unemployment rate when we were much more close to full unemployment than anything in the past 4 years.

What is happening is the government is doing all it can to pretend the economy is great so Kamablah can be seen as doing something good. In 2-3 months they will be revised down, and when Trump gets back in they will show the real numbers which are horrible and blame him for it. It's just another example of the government lying to the people.
