I've seen more Kamala than Biden, but also more Trump than 2020 (I wasn't here in 2016) also in bizarre neighborhoods, like Trump in liberal neighborhoods and Kamala out in the country. My theory is that there's quite a lot of "fuck you guys" coming from both sides around here and they're all more out of spite than support.

In another world, it would be a proxy measure for the state of the economy. If more and more people have jobs and are working, that's a lot of members of society being productive and earning wages and participating in the economy. It can be a signal that the nation is economically healthy.
Here in Clown World, it's gaslighting. People you know, who have had no problem getting a job before, have been out of work for months. Your grocery bill now takes up the slack in your monthly budget that you used to spend going to the movies. Your landlord is hiking your rent again. With a jobs report that's supposedly up, the news media can claim "See? Everything's fine, the Party has everything under control. There's no need to vote Trump. He's lying to you about the economy, everything's great!"

The Dems suck at diplomacy period, all they know how to do is suck off our ungrateful allies, globohomo 2nd and 3rd world nations in exchange for trade and aid, and shit talk the leaders of our rival nations for no reason other than to try to look tough for their base. One of Trump’s strongest qualities is his diplomatic skills when dealing with leaders because he treats them all like business partners, which they essentially are. He gets on the ass of our deadbeat NATO allies for not fulfilling obligations and being dependent on Russian energy, he actually focuses on economics when dealing with smaller countries, and he is careful with how he talks about rival leaders because he knows he needs to sit across from them one day and has made a lot more progress diplomatically with them than Biden ever did. Which ironically that last point has always been one of their main attacks of him, Kamala and Walz bringing up how Trump is nice to Xi, but they don't mention how Trump frequently shits on China its self.

I hate to sound this way but this is a very politically poisoned way to view the 2008 financial crisis and the so called recovery or resolutions set in place afterward. The reality of it is that its much larger than a president can reasonably handle, and to realistically recover from the 2008 crisis would be to actually allow losers to lose, which would destroy the economy, not only in America, but globally; in fact, it may even depeg the dollar as the global reserve currency if true ramifications of the the collapse of the housing market was realized.
A similar game was played out in sourtheast Asia in the 80s, the so call Asian miracle, and its subsequent collapse (after Americans had propped up their failing economy, destroyed by speculative real-estate projects, just long enough to sure up their own books) destroyed the regions economy for decades, only now beginning to recover and climb to new highs.
If we faced the reality and allowed the market to correct itself naturally in 2008, maybe we could have seen a full recovery by now; but at this point such a path I think is impossible, it would be so catastrophic it would collapse the dollar, and so our only course is to print endlessly and give out even more against our own debts to cover our liabilities, for which no underlying is even there... its an infinite debt machine propped up by the promise of more money for holding that debt, with seemingly no end in sight so long as the risk about receiving more US dollars in the future in exchange for holding US dollars now remains zero. It doesnt matter how bad inflation gets, the only thing that matters is ensuring that everyone's underlying is the dollar, which is being held together at an international institutional level.
All of this in short is to say, Trump cant fix it, Obama cant fix it, there no incentive to fix it, and to fix it would cause a collapse that would last a generation, if not multiple generations.
