Dustborn - The Latest and Biggest DEI Flop to Date that No One Asked for!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Dustborn fanfiction is apparently a thing, and I guess is that this is the "NEW PORN" that was mentioned in that one song in the game:

And that's another thing Dustborn beat Concord to, as there are currently no Concord fanfics on AO3 so far.

Guessing they had some leftover EU taxpayer money

All it needs is Virgil sitting there to complete the picture.

I actually like Pax's design. She's the only decent design in the game from what I've seen. The tattoos are terrible. But take those away and I think she looks pretty cool. I can deal with the side shave because she's wearing a hat. It's just everyone else is horrible looking and the game is a woke dumpster fire with a horrifying concept that is really scary to think about.

Why give a character a name that means "peace" and then have her literally mindfuck her enemies into submission? This would make for an interesting villain. But as a hero it does not work. She's not mindfucking monsters or aliens. She's mindfucking human beings who she happens to dislike because reasons.

I thought woketards were against tone policing? Yet here's a game about it where its a game mechanic. And it's not even an original concept. While it wasn't actually a superpower, Chloe could utilize trash talking and insults as a game mechanic in Before The Storm. And the Bene Gesserit in the Dune series can use The Voice. It's actually the sound frequency and not the words by themselves. But why nitpick. It's still weaponized language.

🔞Oh, there's definitely new porn of this game: 🔞

Of course, Concord still has more R34.
Guess it got to be "the new porn" afterall. NGL, that one is actually kinda cute & wholesome, more than this game deserves.
Bleached liberal joins the Right
A tale as old as time itself.

I watched E;r play that and it was so stupid. First time she uses it on a bouncer and expects him to agree. Because it's LiS, it works. When in real life, that bouncer would have slapped her like her stepfather.

And the way the Abnormals are, cause Divergents is a slur to them, I'm for the Mutant Registration Act now.

The fact that the EU funded a game about America and how “bigoted” it is shows a lot about how they think about us. Europeans honestly need a stern reminder that they are America’s bitch that would literally be a shithole without us.
Wasn't this game also funded by the US Government or am I confusing it for other recent DEI funded flops?
Either way, both governments are funded by (((the same people))) so it doesn't matter much, and they never hid how much they hate you.

Apologizes if this was already mentioned, but... I did some digging on TV Tropes, since that site is basically just a wellspring of autism, and I found this on the YMMV page for Dustborn: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/Dustborn

  • Misaimed Fandom:
    • For the scene in Betty's Diner with the officers, many claim that the Trigger choice is an endorsement of calling people racist over Innocently Insensitive words, but the actual context shows that it's supposed to make fun of that very act since the female officer actually calls out the male officer on his obsession with trying to sound politically correct, and turns his nitpicking back on him by pointing out that his words can be misinterpreted as sexism, which causes him to shut up.
    • Pax's dialogue choices are subjected to this since while she has many kind and cruel actions that are performed regardless of player input, the game's choices give her many opportunities for Video Game Caring Potential and Video Game Cruelty Potential, as well as opportunities to solve problems without Vox. The existence of mean or Vox-abusing choices causes many to interpret them as an endorsement of said choices, despite how choices in these situations aren't canon.
    • Some people claimed that the diverse cast meant the game was anti-white, but not only are there white characters within the Weave resistance and as friendly NPCs, the villains have non-white characters too and are Equal-Opportunity Evil in regards to non-Anomal minorities.

TL;DR: TV Tropes is basically trying to claim that Dustborn is more or less politically neutral and a parody, evidently in the same vein as the Gay Men's Choir little ditty about converting children.

Also, a question for anyone that's sturdy enough to stomach this game; what's the story even about? Like, the game is all about wokeshit, but from what I've read, apparently it's about misinformation being a cosmic horror or some shit? I can't tell; I've tried looking over the plot, but it's making my eyes bleed.

The face on the ME-EM reminds me of that weird furry game Paraphore that went viral on /v/ some years back. What a disgusting game.

I actually think the concept of someone ha ing powers that are basically just destructive and evil like that is kinda interesting and in better hands would be perfect for an adventure game

The issue is they're writing with the permisiveness they give to women so pax mind raping her friends to not hear them bicker in a car is just a whoopsy to them and their general horrid ideology making the choices water down to just mind rape people to accept a loud ignorant black woman

The game paints Christians as creepy but Islam as diverse and unironically just paints many factions as bigoted despite doing nothing of the sort and being far more polite to the gaggle of freaks than people would be in real life.

They need to learn that being somewhat neutral on some far left talking points in the sense you're open to different far left solutions isn't genuine political neutrality especially now that people in white countries everywhere are moving further right

You can interrupt the Catholic Theo when he prays, but not the Muslim Sai. You also bully Theo into doing what you want but that’s neither here nor there.

im so glad that these people are so fucking evil that even the people they pander too hate their guts. imagine a muslim that they suck the toes of seeing theirselves portrayed as some splotching weird pink pigtail having fat freak of a character. i feel good seeing this and concord because it tells me even in a post white nation hellworld the powers that be wont get the gay gimp gov loving homos they want and people will always see the p diddy party going epstein worshipping Finder supporting elite to be gross.

If it was some weird supernatural power it would be understandable how Chloe could win. But yeah, that bouncer was huge and scary. No, suburban white girl. You cannot get mad street cred by dissing a huge intimidating black man.

Chloe is such an irredeemable bitch. I saw Null's playthrough and just wanted to smack her the whole time. I think her superpower was conversing with her dead dad in some weird limbo. Unless she was just tripping balls. She did drugs after all.
