It would be the ugliest thing ever. The second her opponent brings up information from the wiki, she'd accuse them of being a Gamergater and try to slander them 24/7 on twitter. I wonder how long she'd hold off on playing the tranny card.

It doesn't matter. While Wu is a piece of work, she is completely, utterly unprepared for the level of cutthroat she'd face in any kind of major political scene.
What would finally fuck her over isn't the wiki or her missing cock or all her lies about school and motorcycles, kids. I know this sounds crazy, but it's not what matters and it's not what will kill her. What would ultimately fuck her out of any kind of real power is the same thing that got her booted from the little clique that more or less started the rat king:
Namely, Brianna Wu is utterly tactless and has no idea how to play the game.

She can't pick opponents well, she can't sense when she's swinging on someone bigger than her, she doesn't know how to relate to people who don't already agree with her, she makes too much noise, and she leaves too many skeletons behind her. In the political world, this means she has absolutely none of the skills that define the fucking job. She's ruthless, yes, but she has no sense of tact, no understanding of how or when to grin and agree with someone, and she's a terrible judge of social risk. This is fucking suicide in politics.

TL;DR- Bri isn't going to lose in politics because of all the dirt we've dug up about her. She's going to lose because it was possible to dig up dirt about her in the first place.
You can be shitty in politics, but you absolutely cannot be sloppy.

You missed the bigger issue: Her complete incapacity to act like a human being. The "Sand Nigger" incident, the thrown iPad, the "THIS IS A HIT PIECE," the entirety of "The Internet Ruined My Life" - Brianna Wu has no ability to deal with anything that isn't complete supplication. She'd have a chimp-out to end all chimp-outs the nanosecond she had to face a dissenting opinion that she couldn't control. This is a person who believes that anyone who disagrees with them should be blacklisted and sanctioned.

You can be a raging, tantrum-throwing lunatic and get elected. We just demonstrated that at the national level. Bri's problem is that she doesn't know who to rage at, and she doesn't know how to measure it.
In politics, this becomes an issue because she's not savvy enough to realize that a tactful politician would deliberately set her off at just the right time to make her seem unbalanced.
It's not that she's angry and unstable. It's that she can't focus or channel it.

I think John knows he's a hothouse orchid that can only survive within a tiny range of conditions, in a safe space with tightly controlled environment. Outside of that, he withers and dies. John will never run for office.

And if he is stupid enough to do it, there are a lot of people out there who will personally see to it that he is fucking crucified.
