The old-school religious right was completely counterproductive because its goal was always to grift, not to move culture in any real way. Some guy with a billowy hairdo going on TV and telling little old ladies that Pokemon was teaching devil worship to children so they would send him their social security checks. They were prescient on some things, like gay indoctrination in schools, but it was almost accidental and for everything they were right about there were many things they were pants-on-head retarded about.

The side-effect of this is that many kids growing up had their D&D books or video games taken away and burned by their parents who took one of the aforementioned morons seriously, and many more kids knew someone who this happened to. This bred in them a ferocious hatred for anything identified as "religious" or "traditional" and they filled the void with the dogmas of Reddit atheism and LGBTBBQ. The grifters didn't offer them a reason to adhere to Christianity or traditional American culture, just threats and fearmongering about the devil hiding under every rock.

It's quite a bit worse than just that. Because the Religious Right were SJW classic, they alienated two generations of artists, Gen X and Millenials. Probably going to be three seeing as how Zoomers aren't embracing Christianity either. Thus, the Right has a lot of trouble breaking into the arts and understanding aesthetics in general. The result is Matt Walsh hating on anime or some dumb shit and why Daily Wire content is locked in that hard-core Christian bubble. Part of it is the Religious Right in America traces its genealogy back to the Puritans, you know, the boring Pilgrims that banned Shakespeare's theater and left when they lost political power. The other part is the modern Right now is extremely materialistic and shunned the arts as a profession as they are inconsistent in making money, often citing economics as a reason. Which is why they withdrew from Hollywood and thus lost that facet of American culture decades ago. They gave up on searching for Beauty.

So, when it comes to artistic freedom, your apolitical artist-type have to decide between the Puritan Religious Right, whom are likely to engage in moral panics that will ban your art, and LGBT+, whom let you have art, but altered in ways that alienate normal people. Both are bad, but one is worse for commissions than the other. This is how the SJWs managed to manipulate art as a business to their own ends; because they find ways to pay for furry porn while the Right doesn't make or sell much of anything.

The latest polls show that Democrat Senator for Ohio Sherrod Brown may actually be polling behind his Republican challenger Bernie Moreno.

If true, this is a pretty big deal since Sherrod Brown is actually fairly popular even amongst some conservatives in Ohio, even though the state itself is moving ever further red. If the pushback against the Dems comes for him, it could spell doom for a bunch of Democratic Representatives in competitive districts across the U.S.

I would still take the polls with a grain of salt, since they only sampled 400 and 781 people, respectively.

the big thing i've read about this race is that there hasn't been any sort of agreement on a debate between these 2, at least from what i've read, which would mean it would be the first time in a long time that there wouldn't be a senatorial debate.

I do think Bibi played some power politics when he had his visit. But the Dems could of played it better than they did. I also think that day kinda gave world leaders a taste of what to expect if Kamala starts running the show.

Kamala had various options.

2) do the above but put out a statement that while you stand with Israel - you wish to work with them to find a resolution to stop needless deaths on both sides. 3) Don't show up. Put out a civil but stern statement. Do something charitable that helps innocents in the middle east that day.

There was loads of things she could of done...but what does she do instead?

She decides to take a victory lap at her college senority. Completely ignores the visit. Stupid move. Makes her look like a coward or unwilling to deal with world powers she might personally not be keen on.
