Apologies for the delay, but it's not been a very exciting month any way. Jim's numbers continue to peak and trough, and only a single of his 5 uploads for the month managed to stumble over 100k (because the video was actually topical).

Bold of you to assume anyone in the thread is still watching, last I checked we had to draw straws to see who was going to sit through each week's JQ.
I think Jim is probably still riding off the favor of the algorithm he built up over years of extremely consistent work. It's hard to believe now, but back when he still treated YouTube like his job he was uploading on a near-daily basis. I think that's why his drop in views has been so uniform, getting significantly worse year on year.

You are heavily overestimating the general public. Yea sure it's amazing that Jim has an audience still but then again there's people that pump out equally as shitty slop and have even more of a higher fanbase. Moist critical, XCQ, pyrocynical, hasan. All those types of retards make content just as vapid and worthless as Jim but they have a much higher fanbase just because they can keep their slop roughly on topic without going off on some wrestling shit.
I wouldn't say it's drawing straws I'd say it's more akin to Russian roulette
I checked against other shitty slop channels for similar videos. Pyro made a similar video with 400k views. I'll be generous and say that because his channel is much newer that he has much less dead subs and such as well as having a few more subs than Jim. So I'd say that if that video was on Jim's channel it'd probably be around 200k. Moist also made a similar video. 2.5 - 16 views-sub. It's pretty bad in terms of numbers and actually better than Jim's ratio, however it's the second most viewed video on that page, double the average of what's around it. You can make this type of just worthless shit content and get decent views. It's not that Jim is making shitty content but that he is shit at making shitty content. People do want to watch this type of content for some reason but it's heavily saturated and there's no reason to listen to Jim because there's a countless number of people that make content better than his. Jim could be sat there with a ~300k average for his current subs but he'd rather throw that away because a few hours of work per week is too much for poor old Jim.

Charlie gets away with it because most of his content has always been generalised to appeal to the broadest possible smooth brain. Before he got bodied by Sneako I don't think he'd ever dared to have anything more than a slightly above room-temp take on anything.
He's also a naturally entertaining and likeable sort of guy if you can ignore the degeneracy, whereas Jim has absolutely nothing but his degeneracy and I think the majority of audiences have moved on from that, especially coming from an ugly fat dude in his 40s.

I will say that's your opinion and you're entitled to have it but I definitely don't agree. Compared to Jim he does but that's not saying much. I think I find charlie's monotone reddit tier poopoo peepee humour about as enjoyable as Jim's 'CEO bad' rants. I think I respect Jim more because he actually has an opinion, even if it is a retarded one

Jim has admitted he is easily influenced by whoever he hangs around. It is quite literally not his own opinion. Charles does have an opinion, it's just rarely that unique of one. Almost like he's a normie vlogger.

Oh yea his opinions are the most reddit tier ones that you could find. But he's still had the same base 'money bad' opinion for years now and as much as I disagree with it I respect that slightly more than just being a fence sitter. Both videos are complete worthless slop, one video is full of peepee penis poopy slop, the others full of CEO bad I hate money and chuds are evil slop. Idk I just respect people who are anti consumerism more than people who are pro reddit humour. His opinions might sound AI generated but at least his voice doesn't sound like one, I don't like listening to either but at least Jim has a voice that actually registers as speech instead of just generic brown noise

If you think Jim Sterling is anti-consumer in the slightest, you haven't been paying attention. He complains that he can't consume mindlessly. That's the only reason he rants about what he does. He's not just pro-consumerism, he's addicted to it. Critical, despite his "dookey-humor" is unironically more critical of consumerism than most gaming commentators are (and that's sad)

No I don't think Jim as a person is but what he says is. He's extremely hypocritical but that doesn't exactly mean he's wrong
I'll admit I know next to nothing about charlie because I just cannot stand watching his videos anymore and it's been too long to remember that much from when I used to watch him other than he basically never had an actual opinion other than something 100% safe. As much as I hate Jim I can actually listen to him but my brain just refuses to actually hear anything charlie makes
