I became a bit more politically aware around un my early teens because I was 13 when 9/11 happened, and the whole world changed for the worse. A teacher's politics never came up, even by the time I graduated high school. I guess that change happened when my generation became the teachers.

Interesting to know. I dont have tik tok, or any social media accounts, so i cant imagine what a shit show these platforms are right now.

My experience with HfH is usually in the ghetto and tends to be blacks because that's what the ghetto tends to be in anything close to urban environments. I have no knowledge of HtH denying whites houses or some other reverse racism fuckery but that sounds like good thread material if you know of it.

Regarding Habitat:

I actually volunteered with them for a year and a half as a young adult, and it wasn't only black people getting houses - I vividly recall two of the families we were building houses for (the future homeowners worked with us as well) were white people. This was in Florida. Working at Habitat also always looks good on a resume, btw.

It was Gardner's Art Throughout The Ages, and iirc the argument was that it was not art because it was not made for people to view and appreciate it aesthetically.
