So what is Pat's problem with the Silent Hill 2 remake?
He has eyes;, and has been reacting with open disgust to every teased bit of this game. But because Pat's an unprincipled trend chaser and performative Twitterbrain who would rather alienate his core audience than be called a nazi on ResetEra again, he has a tendency to panic and embarrass himself any time it isn't clear what his Xitter followers specifically want denounced that week. So he'll make a point of saying "trans rights" on stream, or boycotting Hogwarts Legacy by asserting "I DON'T WANT TO PLAY YOUR TERF FANTASY GAME" on stream (despite owing his career to Harry Potter Kinect) - But when the Xitter feed seems divided between shills and people accusing a video game of being Donald Trump, Pat tends to err on scrolling through the tranny shield's Xeets, then hiding behind the tranny under pretense of being on THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ISSUES; with zero acknowledgement that it's a transparently cynical attempt at insulating himself from criticism for the only genuine opinions he has all being malevolent and wrong, as well as insulting to the celebrity tranny ally he's reduced to a prop in his terminally online social life.
Though it wouldn't surprise me if Pat's stream suddenly gained a SPONSORED disclaimer once it's live, his current plan is likely to shit on it for subs in one five hour stream, then make a series of tweets about how his tranny shield was correct to boycott the game because "YO THAT SILENT HILL 2 REMAKE IS
ASS." Then, on CSB, he'll devote twenty minutes to parroting the misremembered criticisms of other people under pretense of "explaining" the game's shortcomings to a nervously laughing (yet visibly uninterested) Woolie, before concluding with "It's not
as bad as people are saying - but it's another one of those kicks to the nuts that every Silent Hill fan knows to expect from Konami, at this point. Uh, yo, I
badly gotta take a piss; so...", which will cause Woolie to wake up and go "Oh, okay...um...
quick break!." And that will be that until the next Silent Hill-branded turd finds its way onto the podcast.
