It gets even worse. The creator of Berserk made a manga where the main character had to drink the piss of a young girl to heal. Like she is standing on his shoulders and he is looking up her dress or is about to raise his head. This was the point I stopped reading. Amazing art be damned.the manga has more of a loli-esque problem in parts than anything homo-erotic.
Lmao, what? I thought Miura was weird for some shit in Berserk, but this...It gets even worse. In all fairness Prome is a bioroid full of plot device juice and the...necter discharge is never shown. The whole thing is a gag at Delos' expense as the buttmonkey protagonist.View attachment 6485862
Sadly it's true. If you don't know what happens in the manga the cover art looks innocent. But it's a guy about to drink piss straight from the source.![]()
Isn't Buffy the Vampire Slayer more of a Livejournal-era fandom? I know a fanbase exists on Tumblr and Whedon is responsible for a lot of dumb woke shit in pop culture (I wouldn't be surprised if Willow was one of the first LGBT/POC/etc. retcons outside of comic books), but most people on Tumblr were literal kids when it aired. For those who don't know, the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a character, Willow. She was the best friend of the titular Buffy. From the start of her introduction, she had a crush on Xander, another friend of Buffy's who was a boy. Later she began dating Oz, another boy - even cheating on him with Xander. This all happened over 3 seasons. In the fourth season, they had her fall in love with Tara, a girl. Even after Tara was killed in season 6, the next person Willow dated was another girl.
Oh did I also mention she was the resident witch of the group?
I agree, the Willow screeching was an LJ thing. Tumblr would have been worse if it had been around for that. Same with Xena and Gabrielle.Isn't Buffy the Vampire Slayer more of a Livejournal-era fandom? I mean... it's not really worth arguing over the point remains that this fan era sprung from the LJ/Tumblr soil. Tumblr did start in 2007 while Buffy ended in 2003 (it's spinoff in 2004) but... I mean there's still tumblr buffy fan sites around today. You really think there wasn't obsession over Buffy back then when it had just gone off the air? There were still discussions flying all over the web about it.I agree, the Willow screeching was an LJ thing. Tumblr would have been worse if it had been around for that. Dear gods yes. SuperWhoLock is it's own monster but it's pedigree is from the Buffy line. Maybe there were instances in comics before then, but the earliest I can recall and find of a character changing sexualities in a show is Willow and it had enough popularity back then to really spread from there and infect the fandoms we have today.I'm sure these fandoms are represented in Tumblr to some degree, but they cannot be compared to monsters like Supernatural or New Who.
Umm... I rerember reading it and the protagonist was all blushy and satisfied after drinking the loli piss. I'm pretty sure her tights were on full display too.In all fairness Prome is a bioroid full of plot device juice and the...necter discharge is never shown. Not even close, Delos bemoans that he's lost part of his humanity in chapter 2 and in chapter 7 he has a panic attack after he realizes what's happened. Prome's thighs were also shaded out when she was standing over Delos.Umm... I rerember reading it and the protagonist was all blushy and satisfied after drinking the loli piss. I blame long running shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy for this. The reason being is because when you are a show that runs for an extremely long time I noticed writers for the show would take canonically straight characters and make them bisexual to spice things up and expand storylines. For example, Lisa Simpson was canonically showed to have several crushes on boys and in future non canon episodes married either Milhouse, Ralph, Nelson, or that british guy named Hugh Parkfield. Fast forward to a season 23 episode where in a non canon future episode Lisa was shown to have three girlfriends and practice polyamory with two of them. Even though the episode description does state that Lisa will still end up married to Milhouse, Lisa is seen as a "queer icon" and bisexual because of a one off non canon episode.I fully blame Willow for this.

So you just know tumblr took her. I don't have any research on the matter, but I would place a large bet that they embraced the idea (and it has since passed down culturally) that just because a character has been straight for years doesn't mean that character can't be gay tomorrow.
I call bullshit because in order for someone to be an icon they need to be famous, and not one human has given a damn about the simpsons in 20 years. Those literal who kids from south park are more popular than lisa is.Lisa is seen as a "queer icon" and bisexual because of a one off non canon episode.

Look into the farcille tag on tumblr or Twitter and take a shot everytime it's nothing but #relatable lesbian memes with a dungeon meshi coat. I fucking hate zoomers making ooc memes out of well written characters for engagement bait. I hate when those ooc memes become the default interpretation of the characters. Modern fandom are so inbred because normies zoomers only consume medias through memes, porn, tumblr gifs and "character being gay for x minutes" compilation videos. We need to bring gatekeeping back. Only people who truly experienced the source material should be allowed to take part in fandom culture.Block head

On that note has there ever been a series that's recovered from aids/neverpicked infestation?Look into the farcille tag on tumblr or Twitter and take a shot everytime it's nothing but #relatable lesbian memes with a dungeon meshi coat. None that come to my mind... what about something like Star Trek?On that note has there ever been a series that's recovered from aids/neverpicked infestation?
No the rot goes deeper into the property until it’s solely propped up by the infestation that is killing it in the first place. I have seen this many times, the rot goes deep in scifi/fantasy circles.None that come to my mind... what about something like Star Trek?
