Halo MCC/Infinite/general Griefing thread - Six months, two maps, no refunds

What did you think of Infinite after the campaign showcase?

correct me if i'm wrong and it's always been this way, but deciding to give them some backstory origins as the remnants of dead gods(precursors) that can rewrite reality and shit(neural physics) is just a slap in the face and ruins them, thought I was playing Halo which is meant to be grounded in some reality, not anime sci fi shit, it's not scary it's just retarded and feels out of place
Them as just a super intelligent parasite that no one knows who or what made them and what their capable of felt more ominous as did the entire lore of halo when everything was mysterious
I know this sounds random and autistic but it's always something that bothered me the most that I never hear ANYONE talk about negatively and I just cannot stand this modern writing trend of having to explain everything with no room for any sort of mystery

It's ironic they made all these changes to the flood and has yet to use them once in a single game they made. It's even more ironic now that they tried to replace the flood with "the endless" whatever hell they were supposed to be. Why bother with these changes in the first place if you were never going to do anything with them in the first place. Halo Wars 2 doesn't count sense 343i didn't make that one, but it's telling when they didn't even bring up any of that precursor or extra lore nonsense for the Reddit losers over at r/Halo to soyjack over.

It's actually pathetic how much 343 tries to one up bungie, couldn't be content with ruining the forerunners and flood, turning the flood into this anime capeshit level thing instead of just a simple extremely intelligent and resilient parasite, to now the bullshit with the endless who are supposedly "much worse" than the flood whose endgame allows them to do space magic and warp reality
it will never not make me a bit MATI that faggots like these have jobs in charge of writing for so many things yet passionate people who know their stuff and respect it will never get a foot through the door

Local splitscreen exists for MCC. Have you not been in any matches where people have the same name, but with a (1) or (2) next to it?

I literally just played a few Firefight matches with a friend at his house last night.

On the same PC? With the same copy of MCC? I just want to hook up a couple gamepads to my PC so my friend and I can play local multiplayer or co-op on the same copy of MCC. I'm not trying to re-live 2008 and get a LAN party going.

Its crazy how it still hasn't been added to infinite's campaign too.

343 claims they abandoned infinite yet still make updates for it. Infinite's not dead. Its just horribly mismanaged.

First impressions are the most important. Maybe if they didn't launch the game with several modes and features missing, it's reputation wouldn't be in the shitter. They also took their sweet ass time adding back all those missing features. It really should not have taken them almost two fucking years to add back infection.

Looks like they are already showcasing things for that Halo CE remaster using UE5. It's not the game itself, just showing off the ideas they have.
I find it interesting that they are going by Halo Studios now.
