The deep state seems to be sort of paralyzed, The intelligence agencies really don't seem to have a collective goal or direction, the judicial capture is breaking down, and the fiscal and administrative agencies seem to be struggling with all their duties under profoundly unqualified leadership. They're all focusing on their own wounds and plans, and seemingly none of that requires major central control and coordination to advance - they musta fallen pretty hard.

It all begs the question: why? Why is the deep state fragmenting? Did the interests of all these agencies get so overpowering that they can't act on the behalf of the whole anymore? Is it because all their puppeteers are either dying or dead and there are no "adults in the room" anymore? You would think that because of the largest upward wealth transfer in history the elite wouldn't be selling their assets, but they are. Maybe the resources and pull they need just aren't there anymore. Not just because of DEI. They've thrown around money (printer go brrr) for so long that even their non-liquid assets are worth less than they should be. Not to mention that people are starting to see the game being played, though I can't say what they're doing right now other than tuning in and dropping out.

I can see people try to ackshually anyone who thinks this by saying that the money goes through two different channels, except they could easily put a bill through supporting the victims (not pork-barreling is another issues entirely), or setting up a rescue effort around, not with, the likes of FEMA. They just don't and won't because honestly it's not that they don't give a fuck, they do give a fuck about hurting as many people as they can get away with. They want you broke, dead, your kids raped and brainwashed, and they think it's funny. The lockdowns, and various Summer of Loves before, have shown me that it's not incompetence, but malice driving these people's behavior. You can be incompetent and malicious at the same time, but what FEMA alone is doing is actively hurting the hurricane victims. It can't not be on purpose. North Carolina is probably going to be fucked forever because FEMA kept help away from it. It stole the help those people need.

I might sound redundant or like I'm preaching to the choir, but I can't say enough that even though this isn't the first time that the government has been corrupt to the point of giving preferential treatment to those who don't deserve it- this is one of the most blatant examples we've seen so far. If you don't see how blatantly wrong the Helene situation is, then there's no hope for you. People have better wake up and get behind Trump because "we're not going back" to a safe, prosperous society unless he gets back in.

My theory is I dont think he wants her to lose. But if she does lose there is going to be some kind of realignment in the Democratic party and backing her too strongly and her losing would weaken his influence in that battle.

My general advice is to never try to pull one over on the IRS. If you've thought of it, then a thousand other people have tried it.

The IRS will absolutely notice two people claiming head of household at the same address. They are used to people trying these kind of schemes to save money. You must be separated to claim head of household, not just unmarried - I guess I didn't mention that in my other post.

Just have one person claim the upper level and the other claim a hypothetical basement suite - problem solved

The only reason why the party bigwigs backed Kamala was to prevent party infighting. Biden dropping out the way he did made this ticket radioactive for anyone who actually has a chance at becoming president. They wanted to avoid the embarrassment of all the dem bottom feeders fighting for the nomination now that the real players are sitting this one out. While I don't think they're hopes for winning are high it really does feel like they are doing tests on how far "vote blue no matter who" will go alone, and how much sway the media and celebrities hold on the masses so they can min/max the next election.

Internet outages won't fly, monied interests have too much at stake. An overly targeted, narrow band outage would simply be both too suspicious and likely require too much explicit involvement to hide, and a broad outage would cost tens to hundreds of millions of dollars an hour, and that cost goes higher per hour the more hours you want it to go to shit. And there's very few entities with the power to really hit widespread like that on demand, and most of them have that from positions of digital authority - cloudflare, etc. Pulling them down is a huge ask.

I also doubt anything will come from Diddy - pedophilia is basically water under the political bridge at this point, if the Epstein files didn't do it, some horndog rapper won't.

As I stated, my belief is profoundly unqualified leadership. The deep state as a whole has been a case of "promote incompetent lackeys to positions they shouldn't be in", as they then absolutely stand no chance of keeping those positions if the deep state loses power - So they're loyal out of requirement. The presumed hope seems to have been that sub-senior leadership would keep staying competent. You can see this in the active party politics level with how few actual successors the current batch has groomed to effectively take their place as they retire into old age - the agencies they have authority over are no different.

Unfortunately, as I see it, it looks like the incompetent lackies put at the top feared for their positions well enough from the inside to put incompetent lackies of their own in place under them, to prevent a threat from a talented and capable underling. So these organizations are disorganized, lead by people who are not capable of executing their mission statement, and the usual office politics has degraded from "outperform your rival to steal their seat" to "out-impress your rivals overlords by solving their problems for them, to get their attention and become the favored lackey". I use the trump hotel raid as an example of this, seemingly a couple people who really should have not done this authorizing a stupid fucking raid that just caused a lot of fucking problems because they thought they knew better and could solve the trump problem, their way.

And while this leads to fucking wild internal leadership politics, it also leads to a deeply dysfunctional national entity - the kinds of people trying to mask their competence level usually do so by making sure everything runs through them directly. They don't know enough to put good, survival plans and procedures in place, so the whole organization under them gets yoked to a couple dudes who invariably run everything up the chain seeking approval from their benefactors before choosing a course of action. The staff under them eventually just give up trying to exercise any sort of lower level decision making and do exactly as told and no more - see FEMA with their thumbs up their ass right now, and even decades ago.

This isn't a new problem, its been a growing problem for a long fucking time, its just that its getting harder and harder to hide and mask the damage its doing. It is, however, probably being accelerated by the deep states complete lack of credible successors. They are now starting to drop off, retiring or dying, and there's nobody to come in capable of being the voice of reason when new decisions get run up the line. Instead of having mediocre plans delivered late, they're getting shitty plans delivered late by committee, or worse, cowboy plans from complete ideologs who don't understand the capabilities and limits of the underlings they've inherited. to paraphrase Obama, "Never underestimate Joes ability to fuck things up" - Except now Joe's the guy who was last giving orders to even bigger clowns under him, and now those clowns are in charge whenever he sunsets.

Its a governmental competency crisis of the highest order, and I'm honestly not sure it is salvageable. So much capability and institutional knowledge is probably gone that it'd be easier to burn them down entirely and start fresh, or never start a successor at all.
