That's plausible. You can tell this narcissism even by comparing his non sex predator headshot to the portraits of practicing writers. Stephen King for example is a nutjob in his own way but he's undeniably successful.



While he is using his hand in one photo is a headrest do you know what he's not doing? He's not pointing at his own brain like he's mommy's best boy, and his output is much higher than Pat's. Even the guy who deserves more to be arrogant isn't specifically choosing an arrogant pose for his photos. There's obviously a lot of "I'm the best!" Irrational narcissism going on with Pat.

One of the symptoms of NPD is the belief that they deserve to have the best of everything, so even if they can't actually afford nice things they will pretend that the things they do have are in fact the best (and of course anyone who buys something better is an idiot and is wasting their money; I seem to remember Rick implying that he could totally buy a Tesla if he wanted to but he chose not to because they suck).

I think Patrick is just a combination of that and autism. He is no doubt a narcissist, but even that by itself does not fully explain his Patricities.
