This video also got posted in the furry drama thread, and I wrote a pretty deep analysis of it over there since the video doesn't exclusively focus on BlueFolf.

For those who prefer not to watch the video or read my analysis, Lago presents a similar argument to BetaEtaDelota, suggesting that furries shouldn't worry about their public image following the attention from DramaAlert. However, I can't fully agree with this viewpoint. If your response is to say "Just ignore the furries doing terrible things," it can give the impression that you're either okay with that behavior or complicit, implying that actions like filming yourself shitting on a plate are normal and acceptable within the furry community.

To Lago's credit, at least he isn't using his video as a cheap shield to cover up his degeneracy as Beta did. I usually enjoy Lago's videos, so I was more surprised than anything to see this take from him.

It's blatantly obvious how hypocritical this is. You never see this attitude towards furries who wear cop outfits or have conservative views. It's near instant distancing & whining about "making the fandom look bad"

People who advocate and even celebrate this bizarre culture of complacence that underscores the fandom should raise eyebrows. "Keep Furry Weird" should not be your position unless you and/or your friends are the weird element. You should want some kind of internal mechanism to punish/discourage malignant behaviors if you object to them, but ironically enough this is where furries begin to understand "agreeing to disagree". Admittedly a lot of this is very fucking weird. Anthony played the bit to a degree where it's understandable to question if it's a bit anymore. However I think it's pretty telling that, the comments that aren't calling him secretly a gay furry, are chastizing him for daring to pull this stunt. No concern for how accesible furry sex parties are, no disgust or shame or humilitation. Just anger. "How dare you show YouTube exactly what we are and what we do!". Pathetic. Private party? Evidently not private enough.

The furry community has no gatekeeping and being a place for social rejects naturally attracts people who are extreme in their identities, not just sexual deviants but also self-proclaimed Communists, Anarchists, MAGA cultists, Nazis, evangelical Christians, Satanists etc.

It's just how it is, really. Not every fur's some hardcore liberal who wants to throw bricks at cops (in their imagination). It's a strange phenomenon but it ain't off-putting either. A fur can have different beliefs from furs who go "kinkshaming bad; keep furry weird; it doesn't affect you" all the time, which is nice. Of course, republican furs are just as annoying but they're not insufferable. I'd be more chill around a republican fur than a leftist fur any day since I know I won't say something that'd potentially have them wish for me to discombobulate.
