Both conditions contribute to a lack of empathy or remorse for the consequences of his crime.

I'm pretty invested in the true crime community and have seen Mama JF's name pop up a number of times over the last 24 hours, from people just learning about her disappearance. Gives me some quiet hope that she hasn't been completely forgotten.

Hopefully. This situation is seriously fucked up. If JF just melts back into the online grifterplex with no repercussions, that would be horrific. Although Robert Wagner was likely able to get away with Natalie Wood's murder for 40+ years, so sometimes people in privileged spheres are able to pull these things off. Depressing but true. (Obviously, JF is not Hollywood, but a jury might look at him and think 'such a smart, educated, self-sufficient guy couldn't possibly have committed such a despicable murder!')

The recent revelation of a major break in the 24-year-old Asha Degree case, which I think everyone had assumed had gone cold, was kind of clarifying. They had never stopped working on it. Forensic testing and genetic genealogy take time. We all talk shit about Canuckistan but if their police procedures are anything like the US then it's all but certain they know more than has been released to the media and have leads.

The fact that Elora's family hasn't gone public is I think also illuminating. I would assume they've been told by the police that the investigation is proceeding and to play it cool. JFG probably thinks that the lack of noise from them is a sign that he's in the clear.

In Australia we have just arrested a man in Italy for two murders he committed almost 50 years ago - again another case assumed to have gone cold. It's pretty remarkable how quiet they can keep an investigation considering what gets leaked to the public in many cases.

I agree, the family being quiet is probably increasing his confidence. I wonder how long they will remain quiet. I can think of a few other cases where it gets dragged out so long the family come out against police wishes in an effort to turn the pressure up and push for an arrest. I hope they don't have to wait too much longer.

If it takes 50 years to catch him, then he basically got away with it. What would life it prison for a 70 year old man amount to?

The golden state rapist/murderer was dragged to court as an ancient, insipid old man; all because a relative took an ancestry test. In a way seeing mental sound and utterly infirm old men being dragged to prison while they're mentally competent is the greatest vindication possible. Now this kind of thinking can always be a double edged sword- like when, at the time, very young prison guards get prosecuted as war criminals- however seeing decrepit rapists and killers getting brutalized is very gratifying.

Listening to this, he sounds like an objectively stupid person. He has zero critical thinking and is literally just reciting official reports and JF's statements, uncritically.

UPDATE: I'm further into the video now, and it's getting a bit better. But still not the piercing analysis I'd have expected based on AltHype's reputation.

I wouldn´t be caught dead listening to Ryan talking about lolcows. When both Sean (Last) and he recanted the LARPing white ethnostate, they lost most of the dumb wigger audience; Sean didn´t care - he was the most serious and less spergy of the Alternative Hypothesis site - and continued to do his thing but Ryan went off the reservation. Last I heard, he was streaming on Cozy god knows about what, then this shit appeared on my YouTube. Ryan has a pretty good take down of JF when the frog sided with Taleb on IQ; Sean did a pretty good video too.

I went back to the Facebook post from the PEI RCMP about the disappearance to see if there were any more comments, which there weren't, and saw that they had a new class of officers hired a few weeks later.

A troop of 32 pre-cadets graduated from the inaugural Diverse and Inclusive Pre-Cadet Experience, known as DICE. The recruitment program was created to break down barriers for racialized and underrepresented Canadians aspiring to join the RCMP.

To answer at least one question I had earlier, JFG called his girl a 10 out of 10. In other words, she has a pulse and will let JFG impregnate her. So she is still there (or I at least assume it is the same woman).


Duplication:

I will presume that this is the same girl that accepted his impregnation offer, and hasn't mashed any more potatoes between Mama JF and now.

Not following the case (I don't follow him on twitter, so nothing about him shows up on my timeline), but can't believe nobody has found her yet after all this time, holy molly.

Either her family convinced her to escape by telling JF that she wanted to be "free" and they "faked" her disappearance so she's fine and away or, I think this is the most obvious and logical conclusion, she is dead.
