I honestly can't believe it's gotten this strong this quickly. Even yesterday I posted like "eh it MIGHT become a cat 4 before landfall" and I thought that was overestimating it a little. Not even 24 hours later and it's one of the strongest Atlantic storms on record.

At least until that FEMA pooner shows up to ensure equitable disaster relief and the Fed prints a bunch of money to prop up/rebuild Consoomer World

How well attached is your roof? Is there any way you can inspect the ties, etc. for degradation and/or incorrect installation?

Same here, no flood no evac zone! I thought about flying back "home" back on Saturday but I didn't know if work would be canceled for Monday. I'm starting to regret that...

I'd tell you to go make sure you have enough food supplies to last a week or two, and a backup generator, but I don't know how you're going to do that while dragging your cast iron balls around. Good luck man.

Actually got my roof replaced last year. Things should be okay but I'm not 100% sure. I'm gonna have to fuckin check now to make sure shits alright great.

Thankfully I am nowhere fucking near any of that. I'm much more inland but my nerves are still a fuckin wreck regardless.

God is unusually active this year.

Please for the love of god just drive out of Florida for like two to four days. You can live in your car for that long. You can't live that long if a hurricane kills you. Don't have a false sense of security on weather prediction maps. So many people died in NC because of the predictions..
