They knew this bomb of an interview was going to drop, and they're getting ahead of it to maintain whatever credibility they have left.

There is simply no spinning this. Even MSNDNC is saying crap like "Yeah, men don't like her because of misogyny obviously, buuuuttttt ... She needs to start answering some questions about her policies." lol.

Kamala was even on the campaign trail the other day referring to herself as "the underdog" and how "tough" this fight is. It's giving me deja vu of John McCain from October 2008, when he repeatedly said stuff like "if by some miracle I win ..." or "I know it's an uphill battle ..."

She apparently "won" the debate against Trump, but her campaign has cratered ever since that supposed "victory" ... And it's just been bad news after bad news, bad optics after bad optics since the VP debate.

This election isn't over until I hear that the bitch has conceded ... But the joy is most definitely gone.

Events and trends like this are why I still ultimately believe we should keep our democratic system as is even if it was subverted in 2020. The people consistently made the right choice and a more authoritarian system would be more entrenched even as everything around it fell apart. You could even argue it was a blessing in disguise because of how it allowed the uniparty to so thoroughly delegitimize itself on every level. Nobody will ever trust these people to take power again.

This only works in so far as you get what you want. No one, at this point, should be satisfied with the Republic. The Leftists aren't, so neither should we. The ultimate goal should be the end and dissolution of the Republic and the investment of authority into a central autocrat. As long as it's "our guy" it shouldn't matter. The Republic is already over, it's just a matter of realizing that and acting upon the logical conclusion to that realization.

Yeah, that's kind of where people see the real fucking problem. That's where people end up becoming accelerationists and such. I'm not one and don't identify as one, fyi, even if I think it's an understandable position for someone to take up nowadays.
It's all well and good to have a blueprint for a house. But you have to have a plan to build the house. I have yet to hear a realistic way to start building some good fucking housing in America, to stretch the metaphor. Until someone can somehow give a concrete plan that has a realistic chance of coming to fruition people like the guy on the accelerationist side of that argument aren't going to want to hear about policy - they know already.

I say this because people talking past each other pisses me off and I figured I'd attempt to explain why such people exist and are stubborn. Explain to them how to accomplish, realistically good policy that has sound logic as to why it'd fix the U.S. and there'd be no argument other than those from stubbornness/partisanship/willful ignorance left.

The Republicans are a dying party with no heir either. I will not vote for the jeet, the doe-eyed Yale graduate, nor any other establishment-connected politician - and I know I'm far from the only person who's voting Trump for Trump, not because he's a Republican or even necessarily because he's right-wing. Personally I more or less plan on returning to third-party or write-in votes.

This is the wall, the insurmountable problem that plants itself in every explanation of "how to fix the U.S.", there's always some extreme stretching of logic, probability, or both regardless of which coordinate on the political compass the answer comes from. Including any and all that I personally believe in, so don't take this as some kind of 'attack' or criticism I'm exempting myself from.

Nobody has any fucking answers and yet people get pissed at those who notice that.
