What's crazy is that she seemed more prepared for the question of "How was the conversation with Biden?" which is pretty much "He called me to inform me and I went to get counselling" if you take out all the garbage and the much more important question of "Would you have done anything differently?" Is met with the worst possible answer on these times.

As to the Desantis stuff, which pops up when we see him do great things for his state, and does something that does damage to the left; he's a great governor, but he had a campaign machine around him that was designed to drain tens or even hundreds of millions from his coffers. It's very simple, Jeff fuckign Roe, he very much fucked Desantis POTUS run right into the dirt.

If I get time in the coming days I'll work on a effort post about PACs or the so called Super PACs. I'm certain most of y'all know what PACs are, it's a way to donate/invest huge money into a candidate while skirting some of the limits of the limits of donations. Never back down was the one involved with desantis, and the American (i think is the name of it) superpac is the one Elon Musk set up for trump. A lot of them exists on the left too, but I can't think of the names offhand.

Some people simply do not do well on the national stage. Jay Inslee has been the Governor of Washington since 2013 and is one of the longest-serving governors still in office. Can anyone here imagine that guy being President of the United States?

It's because the GOP became his yes men to convince him to run to dodge another Trump presidency. You have enough people talking into your ear, and it eventually becomes hard to ignore. I can only imagine how relentless the GOP was while trying to convince him. "omg we have a popular candidate on our side who isn't Trump for once ... Quick! Make him run so that we don't have to deal with Trump again!"

Meatball Ron was not ready for prime time, and he found that out the hard way.

Such a shame. He IS a kickass governor and could have been a kickass POTUS ... In 2028.
