Ryan is probably my favorite of the weathertubers for basically that reason, he just seems to focus on the science and using information wisely to be prepared.
Direct Weather used to be a regular watch but last winter I noticed him really trending toward ALERT ALERT ALERT style content where it felt like his thumbnails and titles were just pure bait, he'd have a thumbnail of snow blanketing the entire east coast and the video itself would just discuss a few puffs of snow here or there, he really seems to have transitioned into clickbait content. So between the two these days I just stick with Ryan Hall.

And he has a relief charity, the Y'All Squad, that helps people rebuild.

Might affect the amount of wind shear that actually hits Milton. Less wind shear = Milton will have less resistance pushing against its winds and thus be less likely to lose steam.

I just heard from a family member, also in CA, that he and other utilities workers are being called up and shipped to Florida for 4-6 weeks to help with anticipated damage to infrastructure as of tomorrow. Whatever the deal was with Helene, TPTB aren’t fucking around with Milton.
