I swear, the amount of mental gymnastics John is having to do to justify his status as a true and honest transwoman is somehow even funnier than all his previous attempts at running cover. His previous lies of being a persecuted woman in tech or a top Democrat apparatchik were pretty simple to keep going, just repeating the same story over and over and embellishing with new details that made him sound cool. But all the lies and half-truths he's spinning around his trooning out story are resulting in a convoluted mess that I'm not even sure he can keep track of anymore, and the only reason he'll get away with it is we're the only ones autistic enough to document his changing stories.

It's also hilarious that he continues to insist that trooning out has drastically improved his mental health, and that there was absolutely no other way to fix him because he was definitely always a woman at heart. Setting aside the fact that he clearly has a load of unresolved issues (look at how he's a twitching mess any time he's on video), I've become increasingly convinced that gender dysphoria is never a complete diagnosis, but rather a symptom of deeper problems. John is clearly a self-loathing gay man who trooned out to try and achieve some kind of normalcy, and was only able to do so through Frank's seemingly bottomless wallet. Throw in a host of other mental issues, and you've got a recipe for a deranged man ranting about how he always knew he was a woman. Actual therapy would have helped loads more than a cock chop and titty skittles, but that's assuming a therapist could even get through John's thick skull and figure out the root of his problems.
