Sept 28 2024 - Chris and Flutter in Helsinki, Finland

Wouldn't say that, Chris' has had a harder and more depressing life than like 99% of people. Being born with his level of social skills and low intelligence is hell. You're right about him dodging bullets though.

If you think sliding through every fucking loophole is considered hard. OPL wasn't required to work for his tugboat, he made his own messes and refused even basic tips on anything. He made his own life harder cause he's a fucking retard and believed everyone and everything, even his own lies. I don't have the slightest sympathy for him, just pity that people still fuck with him.

Better to have a normal life with a social life and experiences and also a stressful job, than living like a mentally ill NEET with no meaningful social connections at all tbh. I still do have some small amount of sympathy for Chris, can't help it. I also find various Sagas hilarious regardless though.

He's happy about a pokeball Controller for 50 bucks that only works for one single game. And it's true happiness Not even cope

Chris is like the exact opposite of a Buddhist. The final form of consooming. Where as most consoomers buy garbage and slop to fill an empty hole in their existence, Chris finds genuine inner peace and his own warped version of spiritual enlightenment

So do we think Chris joined the Mile High Club on his way to Finland, or did they not even wait till they were a mile up?
I'd imagine something is going on. I can understand that some bonds are so strong that we just can't stay apart for more than a year. Love can be like that, I don't think it's very common but I believe it can be like that. So awww.

Unfortunately I don't think this is that situation. I think there's some sort of sexual or financial or both type of thing going on. I don't think Chris is someone who "loves" or would know how to love a person deeply. If Chris did find his true heart sweet well damn, maybe there is someone out there for everyone.

But I'm looking on the less lovey-dovey side and more on the flutter is getting some kind of benefit from this that isn't the soulmate search fulfilled.

From what we know of Chris' past relationships (both romantic and otherwise), his version of love generally requires there to be a component of being served by the relationship in some way. Whether that's getting a bunch of Legos or the possibility of china doesn't really matter: he's largely in it for himself. What the other person wants or needs is always secondary, and his narcissism and entitlement are predominant.

Given the parents that both Bob and Barb were, this isn't too surprising. Neither one of them seemed to be staying in their marriage for any reason other than that they'd had a tardspawn, and neither one really seemed to care too much about the other. On some level, sure, there was attachment there, but I'm not convinced that it was a relationship that wouldn't've fucked up even a mentally-developed kid who had to watch it growing up. It was a shitshow, and a huge contributing factor to Chris' later failures in life.

For anyone who may be wondering, that last sentence doesn't mean that I have sympathy for Chris. Pity, yes, but he has dug his own grave so many times over when he knows better that there's a reason why Kick the Autistic is America's #1 game show.

But I'm looking on the less lovey-dovey side and more on the flutter is getting some kind of benefit from this that isn't the soulmate search fulfilled.

She was a prison penpal, which makes her predisposed to develop a relationship with the inmate(s) she's writing to. Sure, that doesn't happen in every case, but it's pretty common. Best guess: their correspondence started what turned into a long-distance relationship while Chris was in prison, she came to visit shortly after he got out, and things continued from there. On the surface, it makes sense.

There is a large degree of 'follow the money' that needs to be looked at, however. It's doubtful that either one of them has the financial resources to pull off the amount of travel being undertaken, so someone is likely at the very least partially - if not completely - bankrolling the relationship. If this is the case, the obvious suspects might not be the ones in a position to do so. Until more details come into view, though, it's all speculation.

The final form of consooming.
On the CWCki, it is mentioned that when "Honor Roll" does "meditation" -- most likely derping out -- he visualizes a shopping mall as a "spiritual" place. If "Honor Roll" is truly a reflection of where the West is headed (like that book on Warhol claims), that's bad.

Especially when shopping malls have been a dying trend for decades now.

Chris is essentially a shopping mall, he was born in the 80s peaked from the 90s to the 2000s but as the 2010s rolled around people lost interest. He stopped being worth the effort and now only a few stragglers still drop in the see the decay before their very eyes.

Yeah Chris is one of those abandoned malls that were vandalized by kids and now Flutter is kinda like a squatter hobo.

There still are a number of active malls, but overall malls are going the way of trilobites.

I think that mall that "Honor Roll" stank up with his "Love Quest" is mostly empty nowadays.

I don't find her cute anymore.
What is the end game of "Flutter" -- and most likely "Praetor" -- with "Honor Roll" anyway, especially with that Finland business?

(the Current Year "trolling" sucks)

The good ending: she gets a green card, moves to the US, and goes her own way in life.

The bad ending: she still gets the green card, but marries Chris, get knocked up by him, they have hyperautistic babies, and multigenerational lolcows are born.

Yes.

One thing I am convinced of is that Chris is being controlled, and very tightly so. By whom and how are not clear, but I have my suspicions.
