Nick happened to be in town visiting a bar near where I live in Feb of 2022, and he publicly invited anyone to come drop by on Twitter. I was bored that night and thought, "why not drop by?" I got there and eventually found him and introduced myself. By that time he had apparently already been drinking for hours and was very drunk and incoherent. Eventually he would offer to buy everyone drinks, saying he didn't care how much it cost because "it's all fake youtube money anyways".

While we were waiting in line to buy a few beers he kept ogling over the female bartender saying she was a "gift from God" and talking about how if he wasn't married he'd be smashing. He kept going on and on about it... it was fairly off-putting to me since I still thought of him as being a wholesome family man at the time. Anyways, he eventually decided he didn't want to wait and gave me his credit card to buy the beers with while he went to the restroom. In retrospect, I'd guess it was so he could go do blow. When I asked if it was a good idea for him to give his card to a stranger he gave the "fake youtube money" line again and left. So, I bought the beers, returned his card when he got back, hung out for a bit longer and left. All in all it was pretty awkward, the guy was totally out of it. I thought at the time he was just unusually drunk, but this sort of pattern started showing in his streams later that year, obviously.

The lispy little weasel has been saying for years how he likes "going out, having fun, talking to women, flirting" etc, all things leading up to taking home but stopping just shy of that. Sounds totally believable to me honestly, but I will say that by 2022 the cracks were starting to show for his family man Christian image. It tracks big time because April/June was the Depp trial and that was basically the last thing I could manage to watch him for, even then I was tuning out to other streamers instead because he was always showing up late and had too much of his own bullshit drama leaking into it (and all those goddamn "toasts" he would do to everyone's dead pets and dead grandparents).
