Saw someone post quite some time ago to fill bathtub with water so you have a supply (i was asleep when that was posted, so couldnt post until now). Please don't do that, unless you have some way to purify the water. Standing water is a great way to get some kind of sickness, as it will get contaminated fast.
If it is your only option, make sure you have a tarp or some kind of waterproof sheeting to cover it with to prevent dust and debris from settling on the surface. And if you don't have a purification method, do not use it for drinking, keep it for cleaning or such instead.
Also, make sure your food supplies are watertight too, and stored where they can be kept dry and away from pests, as there will probably be a lot of displaced pest animals after the storm (rats, mice, insects etc) that would love to eat your food as much as you would.

And yeah, I know it's not moving this way. That's why I'm bringing up possible impacts on Milton. Won't he be moving the same way by the time the two meet? What'll that do to our boy? Keep him alive a little longer or wipe him out for good? Something else?

Yeah. Maybe a little early in the year. This was supposed to be some sort of "live" tracker, though. Not just a typical pattern for that time unless they typically take the same day off. For today it showed basically no movement at all in Florida. For the last 2 days, it's been straight for the storm.

Times like this, I look over to America across the pond, and I am so happy that I live in a geologically stable place. We get some nasty storms, and it gets super cold, but that is easy to deal with rather than Hurricane Milton coming to take your home with it.
