Maybe, maybe not, but I've been watching the livestream for the past ten minutes and there's been a dozen different morons out there taking selfies. Plus an additional jeep in the process of losing the cloth "roof".Is that really you?
If I keep watching that top one, I might get to see someone wiped the fuck out, soon. Good times.Noticed this livestream of coast.
There's quite a gaggle of people at the top right one doing selfies.
Shoutouts to greeen rainjacket man on the top righ-and he's gone. Seeing people mess around with the heavy waves is funny but also spooky because they could like die or whatever.Noticed this livestream of coast.
The couple in the black and orange shirts are begging to be swept away.If I keep watching that top one, I might get to see someone wiped the fuck out, soon. Good times.
This is good advice. I grew up in an area that was prone to the occasional hurricane or ice storm. If power even seemed like it was going to go out, we’d fill the bathtub. It was never considered drinking water, it was mostly there to flush the toilets and clean ourselves. I’ve never thought of it being used as drinking water, which is kind of horrifying to think about, so I want to emphasize your advice for any retard out there that thinks shower water=potable waterSaw someone post quite some time ago to fill bathtub with water so you have a supply (i was asleep when that was posted, so couldnt post until now). Please don't do that, unless you have some way to purify the water. Standing water is a great way to get some kind of sickness, as it will get contaminated fast.
If it is your only option, make sure you have a tarp or some kind of waterproof sheeting to cover it with to prevent dust and debris from settling on the surface. And if you don't have a purification method, do not use it for drinking, keep it for cleaning or such instead.
Also, make sure your food supplies are watertight too, and stored where they can be kept dry and away from pests, as there will probably be a lot of displaced pest animals after the storm (rats, mice, insects etc) that would love to eat your food as much as you would.
To keep food cold if you don't have a generator, fill the washing machine with ice. They are very well insulated. This is good advice. Yeah, KF is without a doubt the most diverse community on the internet, in regards to ideology, occupation, and demographics. Literally not a single other platform can claim the same.Man, I am always pleasantly surprised by the amount of genuine diversity in my fellow Kiwis. You might have to sift through some retarded bullshit, but there's such a broad array of professions, interests, and backgrounds on this site that if I read a thread, I walk away from that subject significantly more informed than I would be had I resorted to regular media. I really love this site.
Floridabros, stay safe! I can't think of a people more equipped to deal with a hurricane, but this is a monster. Really hoping OEM by you guys has a good management plan and some hot shit providers ready to roll.
Key West is going to be a few hundred miles from the epicenter of the storm. I don't think it's smart to be out rn, but it's probably not the most dangerous place on earth rnNoticed this livestream of coast.

glancing at some resources it appears the Keys are currently experiencing what is likely to be their strongest conditions with winds around 30 mphKey West is going to be a few hundred miles from the epicenter of the storm. Tornado warnings accompanied with hurricanes seem to be standard.View attachment 6502603

Yeah, but I live in the Rich part of Europe, where forest fires are rare.I mean i live in bulgaria and yeah. we don't have any natural disasters here whatsoever.
If you ignore the fact that the entire country, no, peninsula gets engulfed in flames and fires so bad it'll make the napalm bombings of vietnam or tokyo look like birthday candles by comparison
I can't be the only one who forgot Bulgaria was even a country. The problem however, is that you live in Bulgaria.

General consensus for hurricanes is that.."fuck it let's have fun if we might die", so people take selfie. What the fuck is it with these "people" and selfies
not 5 minutes go by without some retard posing for a photo
