I think the fact that he is using a book that effectively uses a non-Christian lens to interpret the Gospels while he scolds all you prudes for twisting Christianity for your own purposes [which purpose coincidentally involves passing judgment on his continued willful violation of Christian principles] is pretty rich.

I say this with zero moral or religious judgment of pantheism. I have broad personal and academic exposure to the Abrahamic religions, their ancient Near Eastern context and syncretism, European paganism, Western occult and folk religion, etc. I don't get upset or indignant about people practicing these traditions.
