I had my suspicions Autumn was starting to imitate Meisharan's art because of the fat dog girl suddenly having the 'hair vent' thing, which isn't very common and Meisharan's is the most notable modern art style using it. I'm surprised how many people seriously miss old internet shit.
I remember dial up being very common, and it sucked.
Search engines? We used primarily Ask Jeeves, which sucked as well.
My parents had to sign a waiver to allow me to even use the internet in school, which they refused the first year since we didn't even have a computer.
The full screen, barely closeable pop-up adds on kids sites were a veritable plague.
I will admit, the flash gaming sites were pretty great, and i have good memories of the internet in like, 2010ish. Mostly because of the cool websites though.
A lot of those old sites are still around, or at least archived. If you want that experience, go dig in the archives.

Maybe 20 years ago furries got hate for being queer but these days no one gives a shit. The reason furries overall get hate is because of open degeneracy, animal abuse, constant whining and playing the victim. If furries weren't loud and obnoxious about their subculture and constantly doing horrible things no one would care.
