dismissal without prejudice should, in practicality, be dismissal with prejudice because (as far as I can tell) the statute of limitations clock for copyright cases does not pause during litigation.

You're right, but Russ has living conditions to worry about and ever increasing debt with no hope of relief, nor a high paying career. While he may be a fucking mongoloid, he is also white, so he will be found liable for these debts. Time is not on his side.

The ultimate disabled card is “look how people are picking on me” after all. Shame it only works when the person concerned is someone you’d have sympathy with.

Russ would love to be the face of discussing the legal fine details of “harassment” and section 230. Shame he’s such a thoroughly dislikable person that no-one could have any sympathy for him.

There is a documentary-style sketch on Chris Morris's bizarre fever dream/comedy entity, Jam, focused on an agency that employs thick people for tasks to which they are ideally suited. It follows the terminally stupid Rowina, who is unable to grasp why she has to pay a £165 fine to release Mr Hunter's car from impound. Things escalate to a point where the man behind the counter, who has been driven to madness by Rowina's failure to understand simple concepts, loses his temper and allows her to take the car without payment.

Russell Greer isn't quite at Rowina-levels of thick but he is lazy. He adheres to a template that was probably learned during childhood, where he can take the first steps towards a goal, cry that it is too hard, then wait for people who have taken pity on him, on account of his disability, to either finish the job for him or give him a pass. Who could have predicted that this would result in a legally-certified sex pest, who has broken the US court system that bent bet itself towards him like a reed, and as a consequence has been unable to carry out the basic functions that are required to advance this case coherently and in a timely manner.

It be wrong to describe what has transpired as as Kafkaesque as that implies a malign bureaucratic intelligence. Greer is a solvent to bureaucracy, functional or otherwise. His true talent lies in inspiring people to venture outside the parameters of their profession in an attempt to accommodate him, to the extent that these systems break down. If nothing else it's a lesson in the perils of pandering to the whining of an entitled moron; a cautionary case study for the judiciary.

Some small solace is that even if Russ won and Null took the whole site down, no one would care because Russ isn't of an advantaged enough group, doesn't have a media following, and isn't a master manipulator, so it would happen in silence and there would be no media parade for Russell like there was for Keffals
