The last time I watched any content on Josh’s TikTok account he was still hanging around with Michael Quinn and it was only a month or so ago I got back in to watching his content and saw that he was hanging around with that weirdo Mr. Based.

Without intervention, or some life-arc altering event, Josh is absolutely fucked. If he isn't already physically and mentally dependent on alcohol, he will be sooner rather than later. There are few worse withdrawals than an alcohol addiction once you cross a certain rubicon. It takes either heavy medical intervention or the willpower and fortitude of a goddamn anime villain to deal with.
Most people just slide right into late stage alcoholism and end up with cirrhosis or unmanaged 'betus until a painful death, or their entire support system crumbles and they end up homeless, begging for their next bottle to stave off the DT's and psychosis.
My money is on the latter for Josh. He's destined to be another fine addition to NY's crazy homeless population you find jerking off with a moldy half sandwich in a dark doorway while muttering about snakes and parachutes.

Zoomers are sadistic fucks who would sell their mothers to cannibals on live stream if it meant more views and would blink stupidly without connecting their actions with consequences if you mention she's probably dead because of it. Mr Based is a degenerate and uses Josh on the reg, but he at least seems to have Josh's immediate safety at any given point in time in mind.

He's physically dependent 100%. He has talked a bunch about having DTs and alcoholic neuropathy. He's never quitting without being put into treatment against his will or something similar (such as going to jail). Unfortunately I agree with your assessment that he has no good endings to look forward to. Josh's life has three possible paths:
1. Early death
2. Homeless or eternally milked for content by someone like Based
3. The state is given a reason to intervene and locks him up
Those are the only options. He has no future as a free person who is not dependent on alcohol. Sad but I don't see it going any other way. Mentally he is way too fucked to ever stay sober on his own, it's hard enough for alcoholics who are relatively normal other than their alcohol problem.

After redditors got MQs event cancelled (some kind of comedy/public speaking event he was holding at a restaurant) for enabling Josh and saying nigger on stream, he has been “in the background” so to speak.
MQ has instructed Josh not to talk about him on lives/tik tok, but Josh blew the lid on that.
MQ was recently drinking with Josh and then sent him to Baseds apartment all fucked up (this was on a stream a few weeks ago). Probably to fuck with Based I imagine.
