Really the only difference between Biden and Obama was that Obama was at least charismatic

Even then his charisma was largely carried by teleprompters and speech writers, it shows you where Trump stands out because he can riff on his own without speeches and teleprompters and of course Kamala, her brain turns off without a teleprompter.

Rasmussen put out some new data, in their latest polling they're showing Trump with 28% of black voters and 51% of the hispanic vote. Now if those numbers hold and translate to election day and he wins, he will have pulled more black support than Nixon did in 1968 and will have gotten more hispanic voters than Bush in 2004. Another one I thought was interesting is that Harris only leads by 1% of young voters which is another demo the Dems tend to be better in. If the GOP can capture that momentum and build on it, future elections could be pretty spicy.

Unpopular opinion: the 2020 steal didn't change the outcome of the election that much. There were a lot of things that hurt Trump that year, including the pandemic and the media. There was an article posted here once where Dems admitted that the "steal" was actually a coordinated effort by the media, the promotion of the Summer of Love, and similar things.

Trump is in a much stronger position this year, so stop doomposting. Trump ended up looking like an idiot when yelling the election was stolen because all odds were against him already. This year, things wouldn't happen the same way. He has also matured a lot.

With hindsight him losing in 2020 was a blessing in disguise for Trump, it let the Democrats eat the full force of their own shitty covid policies, from privacy violations to economic downturn. That's not to say 2020-2024 wasn't a travesty for America on all fronts but it's another case of locking the barn door after the horses already ran off, albeit I think this will still carry more ramifications down the road.

JD Vance is a good example of where the winds have shifted. as reported before, right up until covid he was critical of Trump. a few years later, and his tune has changed

it could be that he's just opportunistic and changed his mind purely for self interested reasons. or, like a lot of people, going through covid and the riots was the last step in realizing how much the media was willing to lie about everything, after four years of the media becoming more and more unhinged about Trump. then, after doing some research into what the media said vs direct video evidence, realized this Trump guy isn't as bad as the media was making him out to be

Gotta give it to Obama for having good writers, though. Harris seems incapable of retaining talent.

Even as a religious guy, I'm with the states having the choice on the matter. We tried national abortion laws. Everyone hated it. Now the states get to decide what is best for them. And if you live in a state and don't like the laws, you can move. You aren't locked in under national abortion laws going either way on abortion. There are 50 states, 50 choices on what's right for you.
Trump and Vance pushing for a compromise on abortion is the best decision. Like sure we're aware places like Mississippi, Alabama etc. would probably vote to shut down abortion clinics and enforce heartbeat bans but I imagine most Americans would be fine with the gestational limit of 12 weeks as is the case in most of mainland Europe rather than "bans off our bodies" etc.

Project 2025 is a neocon white paper released by heritage foundation under a different name every year for years. The idea that it’s some sort of Elliot Rogers tier manifesto is insane and hurts your case when you talk about it like the standard brainwashed democrat
The big sin of Project 2025, and the reason they freaked out so hard about it, is that a major component of it is basically "This is basic civics the left decided you shouldn't learn in school anymore. Here's how the left has fucked up our institutions while we weren't paying attention. Here's how they should work, and how we could undo the fuckups the left has pushed over the past 50 years. By the way, power comes from local elections and you should seriously consider getting involved in your town / county / state politics before worrying about the presidency."

All of this is well known to the left, but the idea that the right might ever start teaching people about it is anathema to them. Thus, the social engineering to make damned sure no one listens to the right about it.

Most Mexicans see the unchecked immigration as a direct threat.

NightDocs just re-released an updated January 6 protest video. In the description he calls it an insurrection. How much money do you think he took from the Kamala campaign to post this?

fuck jewtoob. I cant even download it because it is age restricted... unless I pay for the premium downloader app. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I would assume yt dlp has an option to use your credentials to get around the age restriction.

Project 2025 states it will do something about the issues effecting the government of the United States.

That alone is why it is so scary, even if it isn't Trump's official policy plan and was made by a third-party organization.

If Trump does claim victory, do you think he should go for revenge over all these snake democrats who have tried to not only lock him up for technicality's and small print but actually have him killed?
A lot of journoscum and snake CEOs do need a paddling for how they have acted these last 8 years.
Unless they broke the law, nah. You will only give them more material and make martyrs out of people that would've been forgotten otherwise. Just a simple firing and them having to settle for a worse job will hurt them more in the long run, especially since a lot of them are fucking useless to begin with.

They do need to fix the weaponization of the judicial system to drain resources from people. Take away their toys and they have nothing.

If they actually broke the law, or actively worked against the people they sworn to represent and protect then I'll happily sign for the firing squad.

Interest on personal loans are generally not deductible, unless you work for yourself and use the car for business purposes.

Also, you're seeing this dumb shit because Zoomers are dumb.
He’s talking about Trump’s new plan to make auto loan interest deductible, like student loan and mortgage interest.

SLI doesn’t require itemizing, but phases out at a certain income (imo too low, especially for graduates who have a higher median income). Income phase outs are bullshit in general. That’s what the AMT is supposed to be for, so why do we have both?
