Overall the house looks pretty good. It's just that orange bathroom that I'd have a huge problem with. Even if it's just a case of the iron in the water, or something reasonable to explain it. I'm just thinking of all the work and money it would take to basically destroy that bathroom and rebuild it, plus fix the actual issue with whatever is causing the water issue in the first place -plumbing, issue with the water supply itself, that's a lot of work. Plus I am extremely particular about things being clean, so I'd want it all done very well, and to hire the best help to resolve that issue.

So yeah, if I were to buy it, the offer would be quite a lot less than even his asking. And clearly, the market is telling him this shit is overpriced.

Maybe, it's just that GearedChris was notable enough of a poster and meltdown that I specifically remember it outside of the flood of alts.

Hot take here - I think it'd actually be kind of cool to have them here posting info that they have on him. They just have to ruin it by what you described, it's seemingly impossible to just say "Yeah I'm Cynthia/Faran again, get your jokes in. So here's a massive info dump on Balldoman. Have fun" then wait for the next one, and just be normal in the meantime. FapcopNick is the main character here, not some wine aunt.

Plus my biggest issue with the responses following the "apology" is the intentional misrepresentation of the issue. Repeating over and over that "making a chart blew up in their face" is just a straight up lie that you'd have to be drunk off box wine to say. People were very pleased for the most part with that, so that's obviously not the issue, it was EVERY-thing that followed it that was the problem. That never got mentioned or addressed in the responses, and the now-deleted MATI lashing out that is exactly what another familiar account would do.

The entire house is dirty and unmaintained.

The bathroom is not only the issue, if the water was not treated for that long, you might have iron participles and oxidation in the entire water lines and every single water fixture is in need of replacing. Waterline could be saved by a professional with some special anti oxidation cleaning method or whatever, but I sure as hell would not plug my appliances on those water lines and pray.

There is water damage on the ceiling in the "living room?". Pretty much everything about the house screams "lazy owner, no maintenance".

Point is, while the house itself might be structurally sound, there is a lot of work to be done to catch up with the missed maintenance.

I don't know what the goal was of @House Cat, but it followed the previous pattern: accumulate a certain level of respect in the thread, and then trying to use that to turn the thread into doing the Faran/Cynthia clique's bidding.

Everything unrelated to the water or bathroom, I would probably demand the owner (Nick in this case) fix on their dollar before making the purchase (when I bought my house, I did the same thing - require the owner to fix certain things before we do the sale).

I bet he'd say no to that work, let alone an offer on what that house is actually worth.
