If you really want to be a sperg out about it, this shit goes all the way back to Clinton. One of the few things I agree with Trump on is his contempt for the mainstream media. The media sold their soul to get and keep Clinton in office. They colluded to smear the reputations of women that Clinton sexually assaulted. They dutifully painted him as a strong leader when he bombed a pharmaceuticals factory in the Sudan to distract from his sex scandals. They never called him out for letting Arkansas execute a guy who was so brain damaged that he couldn't even comprehend what was happening just so he could say he was tough on crime. And on and on and on. To this day it's pretty much verboten to even imply that Clinton bears some responsibility for 9/11 even though it was being planned during his presidency and his method of dealing with Al Queda was to bomb them just enough to piss them off, but not enough to limit their ability to retaliate.

Then they spent so many years calling every Republican a Nazi, that the accusation has lost all meaning.

It's ironic that the media is making a halfassed attempt to counter Trump's bullshit, but they've squandered so much of the public's trust by crying wolf so many times that he can basically say anything and a large portion of the population will believe him over the media. They have only themselves to blame.

And Dems have only themselves to blame for the fact that millions of people see them as so out of touch, that a guy who inherited millions of dollars, spent the 80s doing coke with celebrities and has never worked a day in his life can sell himself as a voice of the underdog fighting "the elites."

I would never have dreamed of voting for a Democrat pre-2022. I didn't vote at all, because there was never a major party candidate that I felt was worth voting for and I consider voting for a third party candidate an empty gesture. If you had forced me to vote for a major party candidate I probably would have voted Republican, especially in the early 2000s when R's seemed to actually be embracing some Libertarian values. But the modern R party bears no resemblance to the party of 20 years ago. I don't like Biden or Harris, but they're better than the alternative.

To be fair Obama getting the prize was a total joke. I think Donny was trying to make a poignant joke about how worthless the Nobel Peace Prize is that they’ll basically hand it out just for getting into office but instead came across as butthurt that he didn’t get one too.

Well, if I'm retarded that's that.

Overall, it's just that this Trump is more aggressive than 2020's. Mike "Uniparty Traitor" Pence was on the ballot as the VP pick, and before the great spergout happened I don't remember any crazy rhetoric by Trump. Now I'm seeing people hit peak Haitian left and right, not to mention standing by Trump as he declares his love for North Korea and Russia's regimes. Might be purely anecdotal, but this time it just seems far, far angrier and I would not be surprised if people actually got shot over it as opposed to another mass wigger tourism incident taking place. Shit's gone tits up, and people have gone fucking mental.

True, but it became a joke long before Obama. I mean giving a "Peace Prize" to fucking Kissinger? But, Trump isn't even making the very valid point that Obama didn't deserve the prize due to his love of drone strikes. He's basically just saying "Obama bad."

I've never met a narcissist with a sense of humor. I think it's because they're so busy acting like they aren't absolutely empty on the inside to be able to relax enough to enjoy anything, but especially humor.

It was definitely a case of him being butthurt. He loves accolades and awards. The Man of the Year award from Michigan that never existed but he keeps crowing about, saying that Time was "probably" planning to make him Person of the Year but he declined, wanting his face on Mt. Rushmore...the list goes on and on.

I do agree, though, that Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize was weird.
