This actually gets into why these attacks don't succeed. The early ones had a little weight behind them, because people assumed that the press would not just flagrantly make shit up. By this point, anyone who doesn't have full-on TDS knows that the press lies constantly. It doesn't just exaggerate. It lies. Fabricates. Makes things up. So when they say they have yet another thing on Trump, who cares? They're lying liars who do nothing but lie. Maybe they shouldn't have told such stupid, flagrant lies, and they'd actually get heard when they have something of substance.
EDIT: Latest lie is that Private Citizen Trump is somehow stopping FEMA from distributing aid via Twitter.

I mean they're free to try that route. But I think they sincerely underestimate just how many of the people they've marked as enemies have unironically spent entire days dressed as a bush just to shoot a deer. It won't be the grunts they send out who they have to worry about, it'll be every bush, tree and rooftop anywhere outside of the gated compounds of the architects of this madness.
I know people who, to this day, assert that this and every other bullshit Trump hoax is 100% factual and when confronted with evidence to the contrary they will handwave it away and claim the source isn't trustworthy because it wasn't some mainstream shitheap outlet.

Leave it to the media to make something that has literally nothing to do with Trump (if you ignore his trip to provide aid) about Trump. I honestly don't know how anyone could believe this. Didn't the Head of FEMA literally announce that they didn't have the budget but a week ago? It's insane how quickly these things get memory holed. Meanwhile, people are dying due to the absolutely awful response that the GOVERNMENT is in charge of. I feel that it is a slap in the face to the people just trying to survive the hurricanes right now.
