Ok, I have to ask because this is annoying me because I'm seeing it more often

If only a SMALL percentage of people get seizures from strobe effects, then why the fuck are they still shoving those disclaimers in people's faces?

I've noticed this since the Wii era and it was dumb back then as it is now. Only time me and whatever friends i had knew wtf seizures even were was with that whole "Porygon" episode of Pokemon.

It's become a standard with video games IIRC since well over a decade. The disclaimer is probably there to try and avoid potential lawsuits. What pisses me off is when rereleases of games or tv shows darken the entire screen and/or fuck with the colors ON TOP of doing the epilepsy warning so everything looks muddy to avoid triggering epileptic seizures. They never have disclaimer for that censorship and it always makes me feel like I'm going blind. That one's been going on for like 7 or 8 years and it doesn't feel like that long

Animation is fluid, looks really good too, but it feels like they're jingling keys at me. Don't need to have everyone darting around the screen on a shaky cam as everything spirals around before exploding in the background.

She’s basically just an even bitchier Sally thst has been artificially forced into the storyline worse than Poochy. This is the main problem, everything about her inclusion is so forced. It’s not that she is in conflict with some of the other characters, it’s thst she’s a Literal Who girl-bossing like she’s been in the series for years when she has never actually accomplished anything except bitch at people.

To the first part thats really mostly what the idw female cast are know for just new soulless ocs for people to hyperfixate on and not move on.

Then second example Tracey Yardley (artist thats been drawing since archie ) doesnt even fucking try to hide his fetishes artwork under another alias or anything. Its just out there for anyone to see. (go look for em yourself)

alt-endings like they did for Adventure 2

There's some small differences between adventure 2s stories but they aren't alt endings. The bit where Eggman throws the yellow emerald into the cannon in the dark story leads into the final story, and you see how he got it in the hero story where after being defeated he grabs the emerald. Even if sonic hadn't caused the cannon to malfunction with the fake emerald bomb beforehand it still would not have fired. I think there used to be videos out there that out the cutscenes in chronological order.

These rewrites are genuinely so fucking awful. I don't know how you manage to fuck up the story of Generations of all games but they somehow did it. None of these lines feel natural or like they have any personality, if anything they feel more dull and generic than the lines they're replacing. "ZOMG... DID TAILS REFERENCE LIKE... LE WEST SIDE ISLAND!!!! YASSSSSS!!!! ITS JUST LIKE IN MUH HECCIN INSTRUCTION MANUALS!!! ONLY A DEEP CUT THAT WE REAL SONIC FANS CAN SOY OVER!!! IAN FLYNN IS TRULY WRITING KVNOOOOOO". Even this video would be better than what these rewrites are shaping up to:

If they rewrite the time eater into actually being a monster and "explain why it didn't betray eggman" to satiate video essayists that didn't listen to the actual fucking dialogue that explained how it was alien tech eggman retrofitted into a monster looking mech to throw sonic off I will fucking commit high impact sonic boom hedgehog time stone tier violence (in sonic mania).

"THIS IS DEFINITELY THE CHEMICAL PLANT" really feels less like actual dialogue than them going "yeah this place is familiar". They were only at this chemical plant like maybe three times before this chronologically and it's not the only chemical plant in existence given it's literally just a chemical plant.

I fucking hate this trend of remaster ports rewriting the entire fucking script that's been happening the last few years post corona world.

EDIT TO AVOID DOUBLE POST: In less shitty news the guy that's decided make his entire online presence just TWTG-esque vids of himself doing an OVA robotnik impersonation got invited to do a tour of SEGA's headquarters. Surprising given how current year even game companies get in on litigation over unlicensed content that makes it big enough to catch their attention.

I Saw this today and this is just sad. I know Pontac and Graff's writing in the series was controversial to say the least but I thought their in writing in Generations was Okay. Sure, It was nothing Great and There was hardly a story. But, did it really need to be rewritten? It'll be Interesting to see the japanese version and see if that one stays largely intact. Since, the characters in Japanese have been pretty consistent even in the 2010's.
